Getting Our Beauty Sleep

Waking up around 9:30am on Saturday morning Lyssa wanted to travel to Campbelltown and sell some of her CDs to a book op shop.  We were supposed to visit Campbelltown to sell some of Lyssa’s CDs.  Inspiration for this idea came from when we were both looking for clothes and I walked into the army disposal store.  Lyssa walked across the room and noticed the bookshop, asked them what prices they give for CDs, and then got excited.  Now Lyssa can’t get the concept out of her head.

Very tired, I thought I should have some more sleep.  So my plight to rest for another half an hour is what I uttered to Lyssa.  After waking up at 9:30am we went back to sleep for a couple of hours.

As time rolled by I woke up an hour later, to notice Lyssa still sleeping.  Not wanting to make much noise turning around as I might wake Lyssa up, in which we would have to get ready, I swiveled my body around for comfort.  Time after time I would wake up and notice Lyssa still asleep, content with the fact we were still resting.  Eventually, I had my beauty sleep.

Lonestar Dinner With Lyssa

Then waking up late, I awoke Lyssa.  Yawning with the sun in our face, we noticed the time was 1pm.  Lyssa knew she wouldn’t make it to Campbelltown in time for the book store.  Instead, we made plans to have a shower and then visit Lonestar and the movies.  Lyssa had a fair deal of money for the weekend, and I had money also.

Performing my sanitary duties, we dressed.  Just before heading out to the movies Jett came over and borrowed my mum’s camera from me.  Then we headed for Campbelltown.

Reaching Lonestar, we noticed the stir was sizeable outside and thought the worst.  Walking inside, our fears were right, jam-packed for a Saturday night.  Finding it hard to find our own little space, I noticed someone leaning over to talk to Lyssa like he knew her.

As he called Lyssa’s name I found out it was Milton, the guy who used to drive Lyssa to work.  Then when his car broke down he stopped.  He’s been going out with his girlfriend for over a year.  Funnily enough because they are both virgins and quite frigid, they haven’t done anything yet and are still anxious of seeing each other.

Milton who was eating at Lonestar.  Lyssa engaged in conversation for a minute.  Then overlooking the fray of customers we headed back outside.  Our intentions were to look for another place to eat.  But as we walked up the street, we contemplated the situation of finding a cheap place to eat, and then headed back.

Taking Offence To An Accusation

Receiving our pager we sat down on the wooden seats outside walking past a couple of girls, one which Lyssa knew to be a bitch.  As usual, there are always good-looking people at Lonestar, all dressed up, ready to eat.  I was the exception, even though I was wearing my new black pants and had my hair done up.  Lyssa on the other hand was looking fabulous, an attraction to say the least.

While Lyssa and I were at Lonestar, she told me that someone thought the reason Lyssa was getting a second job was for the soul purpose of supporting me.  Angering me with this comment, I kept badgering Lyssa for the person who said this.  Lyssa told me it was Constantine.

Lyssa then noted that as soon as Constantine said this, she hasn’t talked to her since.  What a thing to say though, and it’s completely untrue.  If anything is true, Lyssa spends all her money on clothes and occasionally asks me for my money.  I’m not greedy.

Bumping Into Kiley & Kieran

While waiting I noticed a blonde walking down the street and enlightened Lyssa.  Both of us looked down the street to have a look.  Then I realized, the short blonde hair belonged to Kiley and Kieran was with her.  Lyssa asked me to call out to them, so I whistled.

Kiley turned to face us.  From behind the wooden palings and in the way of a couple of trees, I waved to Kiley.  They didn’t know who we were.  As they stood on the pathway, we walked over to them and had a little chat.  Kiley was with Kieran and their family, walking down the street, on their way to dinner across the road to another eatery.

Snobbed By Dina At Lonestar

Heading back to the Ranch, we sat down on the oak stained seats.  While playing around with my buzzer and getting frustrated because I couldn’t break open the buzzer, it suddenly went off.  My free arm flung away from it with hysteria.  Lyssa and I had a laugh and then walked inside to be seated.

At Reception, I noticed Dina walking past so I waved to her.  Nothing prepared me for the rude snob I received as she looked at me, rolled her eyes and then continued with her duties.  Bitch, that’s all I can say.  What did I do to her apart from being Imad’s best friend to deserve her attitude?  Nevertheless, that didn’t worry me.  I got mine back later that night.

Because it was so packed out Lyssa decided to ask for any seat.  As my luck had it, we sat in the smoking section.  Not too happy about this, we also sat on a table instead of a booth.  That didn’t please me all that much also, so I sat there piqued.

Eating peanuts, we chatted while waiting a couple of minutes for our waiter.  Arriving, he took our orders and then scooted off to make them a reality.

Dina kept passing to serve customers and she didn’t look in my direction.  Lyssa was pissed off.  Whenever Dina would look, Lyssa would give her death stares, give her the eye.  Dina must feel conscious now of seeing me around.  Dina’s just a bitch.

Developing A Crush On Haizley

When our food arrived we jumped straight into it.  Because the place was so packed out, our dinner salad wasn’t all that big.  But treating the meal like an entrée, we devoured it.

From out of nowhere, one of the staff walked up to our table, slick, feminine, her name was Haizley, a girl I used to go to school with.  Eons ago, Lyssa and I asked her while at Lonestar if she was American.  We had a brief conversation with her.  She was Canadian I think.  Haizley informed us that our normal waiter had taken a little break so she would be our waitress for the next couple of minutes.  Oblivious, I now realize that Haizley could have been doing that because she wanted to serve us.

With a smile always on her face she walked away content.  Then Lyssa and I discussed what a nice person she was.

Toying with the idea, I told Lyssa how if I were to ever go out with anyone again, it would be someone like Haizley.

Her attitude, her smile and her personality are things that I would appreciate and be happy with, befitting for my personality.  Lyssa agreed.

Now I think a more sinister reason for Haizley to approach our table that night.  My thoughts, Haizley asked to take over our table so she could talk with us.  Maybe that’s not true but the normal waiter never regained his position.  Haizley had us for the rest of the night.

Because I mentioned my unreal notion to Lyssa prior to her leaving, I started thinking in my head about Haizley.  Lyssa could see the big grin on my face.  She didn’t really mind.  She was grinning too.  When our food was consumed, we paid the bill and then headed outside.

Watch Deep Impact At Twin Cinemas

Saturday night, just after leaving Lonestar we headed for the movies in Campbelltown.  Because we didn’t want to spend a great deal of money to watch a movie, I suggested the Twin Cinemas because they had ‘Deep Impact’ playing.

The journey was cold but we finally made it and viewed the movie guide.  Walking to the ticket guy we purchased two tickets, which cost us $5 each.  Walking around the corner where the seats were I noticed only two or three souls sitting down and thought it was going to be a quiet cinema.

Making A Point To Be Nice

Feeling the need for some chewing gum, we jumped up and walked outside in search of a shop that would supply it.  Walking up the street on the lights, we noticed the girl I knew from Pizza Hut (little Holly’s friend).  Not noticing her because of her short hair I didn’t really wave but just stared.

Crossing the street I noted to Lyssa that I felt rude because I didn’t notice her when Lyssa said hello.  Buying some chewing gum we headed back to the Cinema.  We noticed them on the other side of the road waiting for a bus.  Seeing a chance I kept looking her way.  When we had passed them she looked our way and I waved to her.  You might be thinking it’s stupid, who goes to all that trouble.  But I don’t like it when people don’t think that nicely of me.

A Review Of Deep Impact

Back at the Cinema we sat back down and started chatting, noticing that now there was a dense amount of people to watch the movie Deep Impact.  The line for Deep Impact was starting to form.  Not wanting to be last, we jumped in.  It was kind of stupid standing in line behind a couple that thought they would show off with each other to everyone else.  The wait to enter the cinemas was twenty minutes.  Finally we walked in to sit down.

Lyssa immediately noted the air was hard to breathe.  Looking under the lighting you could see dust and a sense of dense air.  It was hard to breathe as we tucked ourselves down one of the side aisles and sat down.

Following twenty minutes of previews the movie started.  Not wanting to extend the substance of the movie Deep Impact in varied point form, I’ll just say that Deep Impact was a love story, a tragic story, and an interesting story.

Shivering Waiting For The Bus

The movie ending had arrived.  As the lights turned on Lyssa and I were content with catching our bus. The night was freezing coming back out at 11:45pm.  It was time to catch a bus.  The bus came at 12:26am.  We didn’t have long to catch a bus, or so we thought.

Freezing cold, we made our way to Campbelltown station where Lyssa sat to wait for the bus and I ran up to check the bus timetables.  Reading down the list, the bus wasn’t scheduled for another half an hour.  Walking back to Lyssa, we commented about the night and then held each other for warmth.

Relatively untroubled, we jumped onto the last bus to Bradbury for the night, relieved to be out of the cold.  Although it was still cold, nothing compared to outside.

Sleeping On Opposite Ends

Jumping off the bus and thanking the driver, we headed for my house.  We then arrived home.  Opening the front door, Lyssa ran to the bedroom to snuggle up in my warm waterbed, as I took my shoes off.  Lyssa was tired.  After solace for getting out of the cold, I jumped in bed.  We both lay there tired and eventually went to sleep.

What I think I done was watch television and play computer for an hour or so and then went to sleep.  , We both went to sleep almost instantaneously.

Upon entering the bed with Lyssa, I kept turning over because it was uncomfortable.  Lyssa would hog the space, so I thought of an ingenious idea.  Rather than both of us sleeping on the ground where it would be cold, I lay opposite to Lyssa with my feet at her pillow.  This worked great as we both had plenty of room to move around.  I was proud.
