Jermaine Phones Lyssa Up

To speak quickly in the next fifteen minutes of the two days just past, let me start with waking up on Wednesday.

I don’t think much happened on Tuesday night that I can remember.  I think that I called Lyssa at night before she was going to sleep to ask her who was on the line.  She told me Jermaine.  She hung up the phone with him and then we talked for a bit before the phone rang again and we said our good-byes.

I thought it might have been Jermaine calling back but it was in fact Lyssa’s mum calling.  Lyssa went to sleep at 11pm last night.  I last talked to her at 8:30pm because she was going to get an early night, so go figure that one out.

Train Travel To Newtown

Wednesday morning my alarm didn’t wake me and I was an hour late to get up.  Catching a bus to Campbelltown I quickly collected the Drum Media and then ran to the train station.

I caught a train to Minto and jumped off because there were police jumping on and they would have busted me for no ticket.  No matter, I bought a ticket at Minto and then headed for Glenfield where I thought a fast train would lie waiting.  That did happen, as I jumped on an express train and beat the normal train to the City.

In Sydney, after talking to a friend from Campbelltown, I was confused and jumped onto a train heading for North Sydney.  Realizing what I was doing I jumped off and then caught a train to Newtown.  Walking up the long stretch of main road I reached my target, Nu Town Studios.

Meeting At Nu Town Studios

Walking straight in and upstairs I walked to Demi’s room, as she greeted me.  I sat down as we started talking.  Then I got to showing her all the scripts and songs I had brought.  It all went smooth.  We listened to the CDs, then mucked around a while with music, then tried to figure out exactly what instruments I would need for my song.

We browsed on the topic of vocal singers but as she said, “That’s Gavyn’s department.”

I was there for around an hour as we discussed my song and me coming in next week.  She took lots of photocopies and told me she would start work on MIDI for my song, and trying to pick the instruments and the right sounds for my song.  Before leaving I left KCi & Jo Jo with her so she could have something to work from.

Buy Blank CDs In North Sydney

Heading out I then walked to the train station and headed for North Sydney.

While in North Sydney I had my first meal of the day, as I was gut hungry.  Trying once again to find where this place was, I had a bit of a hard time but eventually found it and done my business straight to the point.  Almost running out of there I had trouble finding the station again.  Finally, I headed for the City.

Hunting For Pianos In Sydney

In the City I was on pursuit of getting some photos of Pianos.  Walking into Centrepoint where I thought one would be, they told me it was gone and wouldn’t return.

From there I walked to David Jones and checked out the top and bottom floor pianos but to no avail. They weren’t the right angles.  From there I talked to the man that operates the lift.  He told me of two places.  Trouble was, they were both near Circular Quay and they were ages away.

Anyway, I was on a journey and the first place I stopped at was The Regent Hotel.  Quickly checking out the Piano I found that it also wasn’t the right angle.  About to quit I then tried the Renaissance Hotel.  With my luck it was in a beautiful position.  The Piano was all open.  I was as happy as I could be.  Photography was fun for me that day.

Buy CDs From Sydney HMV

From there I quickly jumped on the train to head home since I was tired and it was getting late.  I still had to develop the photos and then go home and then back to Lyssa’s house.

Just remembering, I forgot to buy a CD so I had to jump off and then use my ticket to get out.  Pissed off I ran to HMV and service was bad there.  With just one person behind the counter and the phone constantly ringing, I was getting very frustrated.

The line in HMV was eons long and I wanted to listen to a CD, but there were two people already on the consoles, so I had to wait.  I was just going to buy the CD but I had to make sure it was the right one.

Listening to the CD I didn’t like it as much.  So angry, I picked up “Mint Condition” and just paid for it without listening.  After all, it’s on my list anyway.

Dinner At Lyssa’s House

Heading home I went to Campbelltown but everything was closing.  The only thing I could do was meet Lyssa at Leumeah Station.

Traveling there I only had to wait a couple of minutes before she showed up.  Before Lyssa came I bought some food for the house.  Then Lyssa bought some hot food for the night.  I had a full bag in my hand, but Lyssa never really cares that much to ask, which is good for me on this occasion.

We caught the bus to Lyssa’s house and then walked into her darkened home.

We had the biggest feast last night.  After the feast we were so sick we couldn’t walk properly.  We were proud of ourselves and even left some food for Kuper, and fed the cat.

After the food we watched some television.  Then Lyssa went to sleep before I did.  Jumping in there with her, we had a little tussle before falling asleep.

Ideas For The Second Dedications CD

It was hard for me to fall asleep last night because all night I was thinking of something new for the CD.  Instead of having the Titanic song at the end of the CD I was adding one from the “Ol Skool” CD.  But, instead of having the whole song I’m recording the first verse exactly the same at the recording studio and then have it jump into the verse and fade away at the end of the verse.  Over the top of it, the voiceovers will be reciting my poems.  I can tell it will be the best part of the whole CD if done right.

Develop Photo Negatives In Town

This morning I quickly fed the cat, put some clothes on and then headed for Campbelltown.

Waiting for the photos to develop was the longest hour I have had, but I was slightly disappointed at the result.  Most of the pictures had blotches of darkness and some had big flash spots in them.  The Hyde Park pictures turned out great and everything is usable.

Coming home after that I’ve been touching up on my tactics for the CD.

This is probably the last day of this month. We both know what’s going to happen when next month comes.  I’ll be recording in a studio and loving it.  I’m a very creative person, with music, with animation, with computers, with drawing and with my mind.  That’s why I call myself an artist.
