New Clerk Role With Martinson Engineering – Mad Chaos: August 20, 1997

Rating The Last Few Months

I’ve recognized something with my months in particular.  June was a very good month for me topping the scale at a possible 9.5.  July was a slowdown period that was a scale 6 and slumped down.  August was a regain period where my scale has risen back to a 7.

Considering I’ll have a job next month, and so will a lot of people, I know I’ll be back on scale 9.  So, in my months, I have a great month followed by a slowdown, then a pickup, and then another great month.

Heading right back to January; that was a pickup period month from December.  February was the month with Jewell so that was a scale 9 stage.  March was a scale 6 slowdown period.  Once we were over, April was a scale 7 pickup period.

Now, as far as I know, May was a bad month for me, before meeting Lyssa, or it could have been a scale 6 stage.  I’ll have to see.

It’s amazing how my months faze in and out of periods or stages.  On that point, I can’t wait until next month when I can build up money for a car.

Job Interview With Martinson Engineering

Today I woke up and called the job for Martinson Engineering that was in the paper.  After a brief talk and explanation of myself, they said they’d call back, and they did.  Arranging an appointment at 1:45pm, I got into my new clothes feeling confident.

Catching a bus to Narellan where the position with Martinson Engineering was held, a little early I talked to the boss, who seemed alright.

The job which is situated in an Engineering company with an all-male team is a Clerk Position.

Nathan, the boss sounded genuinely pleased with me.  He told me that he would call back later that day to tell me what the answer is.

Teachers, Students, Schools, Language Partners, all in the one community. Jiaoyu Community.

Eating Rice Bubble Treats With Lyssa

Walking to Lyssa’s house to see her, I sat out the back eating the Rice Bubble Treats that I had bought for her and her friends that were there.  She answered the phone.

As I was sitting outside on the veranda I poured Rice Bubble Treats out.  She laughed.

Lyssa’s friend Colton was over from across the street, the girl from Pizza Hut, Carleigh and then Bielka, Velda and Penelope came over while the others disappeared.

Sitting out the back porch, Lyssa showed me her new photo album.  I looked through it.

Lyssa was getting ready to go to the Tennis Club and then a function after that with her dad.

Securing The Clerk Role With Martinson Engineering

Getting a call back form Nathan, he told me that the job was mine.  I’m starting tomorrow, which I’m very happy about.

With my new Job I’ll be working from 8am to 5pm and an hour extra off on Friday.  Getting an Award wage plus extra on top, I’ll be receiving a top rate of around $260 taxed and $330 gross, which is splendid.  There is chance for overtime.

I’m happy with the fact that I’ll have my own desk soon, with my own computer, doing my own thing.  Yes, this month is starting to pick up again.

Making Weekend Plans Full

Leaving Lyssa’s house, I gave her a long kiss goodbye and wished her a happy birthday and a good night.

Getting a Job on Lyssa’s birthday is good.  Starting work on Thursday our anniversary of two months is splendid.  Going out with Lyssa on Friday to watch a movie is excellent.

Hopefully on Saturday night, Ali will want to travel to the City so we can meet the girls when they step out of ‘The Temple’ nightclub, because even though I trust her, I don’t trust people taking advantage of her when she comes out looking like what she is, and being drunk.  Something might happen that she will regret.

Wanting to receive the dole on Friday, I’m going to get Imad to hand in my form and try to get me a Concession Card for the Bus.

Deciding not to go to the gym today mainly because I had a job interview and I wanted to see Lyssa on her birthday, I might consider Saturday as the next best option.  I’m not giving up.  As far as my car goes, I’ll have one in a month’s time.
