The rest of the morning and most of the afternoon I played the computer. I don’t know why I play the computer for such long periods of time when there are better things to spend my time on. I guess computer games are addictive.
Lyssa Phones From College
Waiting till about 5:30pm I thought Lyssa would be home from College by then, So I thought I would call her soon. It seems I was beaten to it when Lyssa called me a couple of minutes before. Lyssa and I talked for about twenty minutes in what time she told me she had written me a letter at College.
The letter basically said (off the top of my mind), “I’m sorry for being snappy but I hate being on the train alone and getting up early in the mornings and you’re the closest person at the time so I take it out on you.”
Lyssa told me how she’s halfway through her typing tests and has done a test already. Lyssa was real tired. I told her I’d call back in an hour after she had some sleep.
Lyssa Is Diagnosed With Asthma
For an hour I played around on the computer. Then Lyssa called me back. Lyssa couldn’t sleep that early in the day and thought it would be good to talk. Lyssa had trouble breathing like she has been for the last month or so. I have to admit I don’t take it too seriously. Lyssa had to hang up the phone to talk to her mum and told me to ring back soon.
When I did call back no one was home and they weren’t home for another hour or two. My guess was that Lyssa was at the doctors treating her shortness of breath. My hunch was that she had asthma. When Lyssa called me back at 8pm that’s what she told me.
Lyssa now has an asthma puffer and has to see the doctor again for an allergy test. This is the first person I’ve ever gone out with that’s had asthma. Everything’s a first.
Life’s not fair for some people. Lyssa always thought she was disadvantaged because of the freckles adorning her body. Now that she has asthma, Lyssa wishes that she didn’t have it.
Lyssa also mentioned that she has met a new friend at work. It’s a guy but Lyssa laid the law and told him early she’s not single. Lyssa had lunch with him. I think his name was Cormac. Now Lyssa has a friend on Monday and a friend on Tuesday. Monday, Lyssa has a lady friend to hang out with.
Right now I’m taping Melrose Place for Lyssa. Tomorrow I might be meeting her in the City. If it’s a hot day I’ll spend some time in the sun at Lyssa’s house and then travel to Sydney to meet Lyssa for lunch. If I have some money to spend I might also visit Eros Theatre and have some fun for a while.
Right now I’m watching “The Last Boyscout” and I think it’s time to go.
