Walking out the door of Martinson Engineering for lunch, my phone rang almost instantly. Lyssa was on the other line. She called to tell me about what happened last night.
Lyssa Tells Story About The Dungeon
Last night they went to the Dungeon or someplace like that where there’s an old prison there. It’s supposed to be real dangerous at night. Lyssa and the car full ended up meeting with Channing and Miroslav and some others. After they had pizza they drove to the Dungeon.
Bielka, Penelope, Lyssa and Constantine didn’t want to go, but everyone else did. Emanuel was driving Bielka’s car. If she really didn’t want to go she could have jumped in the driver’s seat and made other arrangements. Instead they drove to the Dungeon.
Lyssa surprised me by what she said.
Everyone but the girls got out of the car. They went to explore near midnight. None of them knew that Aboriginals hang out there. Lyssa heard everyone running to the car. Miroslav was trying to grab a pole out of the ground for self-defense. They all ran back to the car except for Channing, who jumped into bushes.
Channing Disappears In Bushes
They all waited in the cars for half an hour for Channing and then waited some more. When he didn’t come back they went to the cops. This is where I started worrying.
They came back to the Dungeon and then they drove about a kilometer or more out of the way where they found Channing, his clothes ripped to shreds, bleeding profusely, and crying his eyes out. At the age of 21 you don’t cry unless something real bad happened Lyssa told me.
I could just imagine the shock everyone was going through when they had to go to the Police Station. They told Lyssa and all others that people have been found with their heads cut off down there and not to visit.
I remember telling Lyssa last night that I wanted everything to be alright because who knows what’s going to happen between now and tomorrow. Now that statement could have killed me inside knowing that something could have happened to Lyssa, and I would not have been able to prevent it. Even worse, we would have parted angry.
Channing won’t talk to anyone now. He’s too afraid to speak.
Out Of Favor With Our Gang
Something else that Lyssa told me was that she asked Miroslav what was happening between the tussle with Ali stealing someone’s car. Lyssa found out that he was supposed to have stolen a mobile phone from Parker or someone else. Because of that, Parker and Rory are getting 5T to stab us. That’s Lyssa’s words.
I’m real pissed off to know that Rory is only starting shit. Ali hasn’t stolen anything. For him and I (because I’m getting stabbed too) to get accused of something we didn’t do… we need some payback.
Rory is the one that would have started the trouble. Rory now hangs around with Parker and he thinks he can start trouble with people. What’s got me is that everyone I know is starting to side with him, maybe because they think something is up and best be on his good side. That’s why he’s going to Shawn’s party. Why Shawn invited him fuck knows but he knew he hated him even before I did, and so did Ralf.
What are they up to?
It seems the only people I can trust right now is Ali, Imad and I. They are the only ones. Ali’s moving to Granville in a couple of weeks. Then it’ll just be me and Imad. How the numbers fall.
Lyssa Is Too Terrified To Leave Home
Lyssa and I talked on the phone for over half an hour, as I sat on my lunch break at Narellan mall, talking.
Lyssa and I were trying to sort out the argument we still had since Sunday. Lyssa doesn’t want to walk out of her house anymore because of what happened yesterday, so I’m going to visit her at her house tonight so we can talk things out. But not before I call Ali and tell him what’s going on with Rory and the Asians.
Planning To Cruise With Ali
Ali will also help me cruise past Jewell’s house today, as I’ve forgotten her street number. I seriously can’t remember the number.
When that’s complete and Ali and I have spoken, he will drop me off at Lyssa’s house. Maybe then he’ll pick me up and we’ll talk again.
This whole situation with Rory is starting to piss me off. Revenge is always in the back of his mind. He’s always thinking that Ali or I have done something to him.
