On A Hunt Into The Past – Mad Chaos: July 17, 1998

This is the first real time that I have woken up just an hour or two ago, and then started writing in my Diary.  The reason for this is that I have been fixing up my Diary in May 1997 when I noticed a couple of things.

But let me start my day from the beginning.

Lyssa Invites Me To Catholic Club

Waking myself up at 1pm, the phone rang once.  I knew it was someone.  Hanging up straight after that, I was wondering who it was, but knew it would call back, and it did.

Picking up the phone fast, it was Lyssa.  We talked on the phone for fifteen minutes while she was still on reception.

“How are you doing,” she asked.

Then in conversation I found out she made changes.

“I started working out at ‘Mid City Gym’ doing Aerobics,” Lyssa shared.

Good on her.  She’s going to get the body she’s always wanted now.

“I am going out tonight.  Do you want to come with me to the Catholic Club?  Because Jermaine is going to be there,” she said sarcastically.

She invited me out with a hint that Jermaine will probably try to crack onto her.

“That is not my problem anymore if he tries to crack onto you.  Plus, you know I don’t like going to the Catholic Club.  But thank you for inviting me,” I enlightened Lyssa.

“I was only being polite,” Lyssa continued in her sarcastic tone.

Lyssa Plans To Come Over

Lyssa had to leave and talk to Kiley because she was on the other line, so I jumped up and had myself a shower.

Walking back into my room to dry off, I was thinking of calling Lyssa to see if she could drop off all the letters that have been accumulating at her house from Centrelink, but she beat me to the phone.

“Hi.  I will try to get your Centrelink letters to you tonight,” Lyssa told me over the phone.

I know I’ll probably be seeing her.

“I think I am legitimately over you now,” she continued to share.

“You mean, no more hugging,” I wondered.

“Hugging is alright, because I know I can now let you go.”

Locating The Brite Wite Raps

Just then I called up Jett and Tatton to see if they still had the floppy disks with our raps on them.  Ringing Jett first we conversed for a short time.  As he was looking around for the floppy disk he couldn’t find it.

Not to worry, I asked him to drop off the camera.  Then I was off.

Next I called Tatton.  As despondent as he acts, he told me that he erased over the floppy disk with our raps a long time ago.  So that leaves only me with the floppy disk in my possession, and I don’t know if I have it.

The only possibility is Jett having it.  He wouldn’t have thrown it out, but he can’t find it.  So soon I’m going to call Imad and see if he can bring over the Amiga 500 so I can do this transfer.

Before these two phone calls I tried calling Johnnie at his house but he wasn’t home.  Leaving a message for him I want to ask him about the letter I sent to Tashi ages ago and also a chick called Linda I used to like back in the day.

Dedications CD Artwork

Now as I was reading back in March of 1997 I noticed that I kept explaining how much effort I placed into the last CD I gave to Jewell.  If that was effort then I would struggle for superlatives in this latest addition.

I know I have already commented on some of the work and even published some of the latest literature that is engulfing the CD, but you won’t truly know the potential of my work until you’ve seen some of the artwork.  Now most of you will never get to see or hear the CD, but right here (If it works properly), I’m going to add the cover for the back of the CD with the songs listed and then the cover under the CD.  The rest is too large to place in here real size because it’s almost 50 cm in length.  So here are my works.

Second Dedications CD-Inside Present

Of course, this represents the Present of our relationship as I knew it.  I still remember the day that I bought the Rose from Campbelltown and then took it home to take a couple of pictures from it, all secretive and shit.

Dedications CD Outside Future

Now as all my memories flood back to the glory days and I have been reading through those pages of way back, I reminisce, or am I just talking out of my ass because I have to use up space because the other picture won’t fit on this page.  Whatever it is, turn the page and you shall see the last of my pictures.

Now that I’ve added these two pieces I believe I can go now.  My work here is done.  I think I have been on this cursed computer writing for a bit too long.  Was it a good idea to include these illustrations of my life?  Only time will tell.

My only hopes are that if I get a new girlfriend down the track and allow her to read this, then she won’t look at the pictures and say, “Why aren’t I getting this treatment,” because you should know, you are.
