Waking up this morning at 9:30am, I realized that I hadn’t slept in my bed for the past few days. My sleep was fine. After waking up I realized that a couple of my joints were tender.
Make Plans With Lyssa
Calling Lyssa just after I woke up I learnt that she was still asleep. It took a couple of seconds for her to answer the phone. Still asleep, I talked to her for a couple of minutes arranging the day before jumping in the shower and getting something to eat.
Calling Lyssa back, I found that Penelope didn’t want to apply for Austudy today. She was visiting Lyssa for half an hour and then giving her a lift to Campbelltown.
CES Job Search With Lyssa
Walking to Campbelltown with my résumé in hand I walked into the CES. I had to wait for half an hour for a computer screen because it was so busy. Slade was there. He had a chat with me for a couple of minutes until I got my own screen.
Lyssa called and then made an appearance a couple of minutes later. We both searched for a position. Lyssa found two positions and I found four to look at.
Lyssa and I both applied for a job in the City. On Friday we have to attend the City CES at 9:30am. Lyssa and I will be together when we have to sit in a conference for 2 hours with all the other applicants. Then after an interview we will be sent to different interviews in the City, supposedly for the same company. The company is supposed to be huge and there are plenty of positions.
The reason I applied for the same position (even though it is a traineeship), is that Lyssa and I have a chance of working in the city together. I sent three faxes, arranged two interviews and walked out of the CES.
Lunch In The Mall
I walked to the Mall. While there we visited Just Jeans where Zayd works. Lyssa used Eftpos to get some money.
Lyssa had a headache so she bought lunch for the day. After our lunch we walked to the station. After catching the train to Leumeah we walked to Lyssa’s house.
Playful At Lyssa’s House
While at Lyssa’s house we had some time to relax, as we had something to drink, eat and then watch some television. Lying down on the couch Lyssa and I kept mucking around, as she lay on the couch with me. We would have thumb wrestles and then bite each other on the arm, as I chased her around the house. We had fun.
Lyssa’s brother came home around 6pm. After a small talk with him he was off down the street.
Not too long after that Lyssa’s mum came home. We stopped mucking around and biting each other. The day was so hot that I took my pants off and was in my boxer shorts, so Lyssa quickly passed them to me before her mum walked in.
At Lyssa’s house I stayed until 7:30pm when I thought I should get home before it got dark.
Bump Into Imad
Walking all the way home from Campbelltown, I came across Imad near Ralf’s house. With Dina in the house, he done a U Turn and came back to pick me up. After a brief talk we drove to my house, where he went out of his way to drop me off. Then as I thanked him, he was on his way with Dina to his house.
The Weird Call From An Employer
Not too long after I got home. As I was checking through the paper for work employment ads, I received a call on my mobile phone. The call was weird, as it was an employer. I asked him to call my house.
What was weird was that the employer told me about a job I can’t recall at all. On top of that, I read the job in the Cumberland Classifieds. What’s more is that I didn’t make an interview with them or fax my résumé. Now that’s what spun me out because if I don’t at least get an interview I would send my fax. What was more interesting is that the call came to me near 8:30pm.
Because of the employer that called tonight I arranged an interview tomorrow at 1pm but it won’t be possible. The position was an “Investment Property Consultant” for a place in Burwood that was making billion dollar turnovers.
Make Interview Plans With Lyssa
After that call I phoned Lyssa. We talked for a couple of minutes before she had to hang up because Carleigh called for her brother.
Calling Lyssa back after an hour, we discussed tomorrow. What is happening is that I’m meeting Nikita at Campbelltown station at 10am. From there we are meeting with Lyssa at Leumeah station to catch a train to Parramatta.
Lyssa and Nikita will be shopping at first in Parramatta. Then near 2pm we will be visiting either Auburn for one of my interviews or Burwood for this interesting opportunity.
Lyssa would be sleeping right now in preparation for tomorrow. I will be going to sleep at midnight to wake up at 8am tomorrow.
The Dream Of A Musical Career
Right now I’m watching the music awards where Mariah Carey is performing live from Tokyo. Watching these awards I dream of the day that my own adventures will lead me closer and closer towards my goal, creating my own songs and becoming one with music. That’s where I belong.
