Shooting Through The Two Interviews – Mad Chaos: January 29, 1998

Another month is almost gone.  Near the end of this month and to the start of next month I will see a gradual rebirth back into friendship.  Not talking to Ali has opened new doors to me.  Even though it hasn’t happened all at once, times always will change.

Routines Of Old People

Waking up Wednesday morning I had a shower and something to eat.  Then I started walking to Campbelltown near 9am.

I think it’s funny that when I pass the bus stop near this time in the morning all the old people of the neighborhood are catching buses.  It’s like after 9am all old people are going out to conventions and old people picnics or to lawn bowls somewhere.

Rendezvous With Nikita At The Train Station

Reaching Campbelltown station 20 minutes early I waited on a seat for Nikita to arrive.  Lyssa made plans for me to meet Nikita at Campbelltown so we can both catch the train and meet Lyssa at Leumeah.

Sitting there for the first 15 minutes I thought to myself that Nikita wasn’t going to show up.  My thoughts were that Nikita was embarrassed to meet up with me because it would be a weird situation.  Personally I think that Nikita is an interesting person.  She is the type of person that wouldn’t mind having conversation and would help not to make an awkward position.

Thinking that Nikita would not show up, I walked to the platform over the stairs and kept looking at the seat to see if she would arrive because I was anticipating her arrival.  A train came and blocked my view.

Anxious, I walked back to the seats for a couple of seconds to wait.  My train was near.  It was only a minute until my train came.  So, looking around extensively and not finding Nikita, I walked back towards the platform.

Just as the train pulled in I took one last look at the seats, to notice Nikita sitting there talking to Chia.  Running back down the stairs in a hurry, I bumped into Layne – who I talked to the day before while Lyssa and I were walking to her house.

Trying to hurry the conversation but still keep interested, I knew the train was pulling away any second.  So after a minute of conversation, I excused myself.

Dash With Nikita For The Train

Running down the stairs in my suit I excused Nikita from her conversation, said bye bye to Chia and then walked fast up the stairs.  As we hurried to the platforms we just made the train, jumping on at the last second as the doors closed just behind us.

Sitting down with Nikita and starting a small conversation, I noticed Layne on the other part of the train.  Opening the sliding doors he came in and sat next to Nikita to talk to me.  What I think was going through his mind was that he might get lucky with Nikita, or he was probably thinking what good breed of women I hang out with.

As we all jumped off at Leumeah, I said bye to Layne.  I purchased our tickets for Parramatta.  Then I sat with Lyssa as Nikita.

Gossip On The Train Ride

The train trip to Parramatta lasted 45 minutes.  It wasn’t without gossip and conversation.  Nikita was telling us of a time when she was stopped on the train by a couple of guys that were very persistent in getting hugs and wanted to know Nikita and her friend.  The guys didn’t get the picture and Nikita couldn’t wait to get away.

Retail Shopping In Westfield Parramatta

Reaching Parramatta, we visited Westfield shopping.  Lyssa shopped for pants in Hound Dog where she exchanged some other pants.  Nikita bought a leopard design top.

After some shopping we sat down at the food court and had something to eat.  Lyssa and I bought some hot chips and a drink.  We had run out of money.

While we were there we noticed Finley that works in Parramatta was having lunch.

Walking back to the station, we caught a train to Burwood for my first interview.  As I walked towards the interview, I gave Lyssa my mobile phone to have and told her I would call her after and meet her while she shopped for more clothes.

Deceptive Investment Property Interview

Walking towards the interview, as I was on the street I walked past two huge buildings I would be proud to work at.  Instead, as I walked past some townhouses I hoped I wouldn’t have an interview there, since the employer boasted billion dollar profits.

To my surprise I found that a small cottage house was where the office was situated.  Seeing only one person in the office (figuring that was my boss working hard on his computer) I decided to walk right past.

Calling Lyssa, I met up with the both of them at the front of Westfield shopping at Burwood before we decided to catch a train for my second interview.

Give Up On Second Interview

Real tired by now, we slumped onto a block that held the shading blocks of the train station and sat on them.  Calling my next interview I tried to find how long the walk would be.  With a receptionist who herself didn’t know, I found that the walk would be 15 minutes and that I was already late.

We all decided not to attend the interview.  I found it a waste to have my suit on for nothing.  Still clutching my résumé, we caught a train to Liverpool and then a train to Leumeah.  Saying goodbye to Nikita we jumped off as she traveled to Macarthur Square.

Use Jolly Roger Cookbook Prank Techniques

Walking to Lyssa’s house, tired and trying to take off unnecessary clothing, we had a long drink and sat down.  As Lyssa had a shower, I mucked around with her home phone.  I found I could call other people by hanging up the phone fast as a pulse dial like I learnt in Jolly Rogers Cookbook.  Teaching Lyssa the trick, I called Nikita with that method, as Lyssa talked for a couple of seconds.

The Dinner Tradeoff

A couple of hours passed and Lyssa decided she wanted to sleep at my house.  Calling her mum at work, she arranged a lift to my house, as long as Lyssa cooked her mum some dinner.  As I helped with the dinner, her mum came home to a hot meal.  Then we drove to my house.

Lyssa Sleeps Over

At my house we watched Spice Girls on television.  Then we once again stripped unnecessary clothes.  I amused Lyssa and turned her on.

The night passed quickly.  We slept near 11:30pm.  As Lyssa went to sleep I tried to take her underwear off while she was asleep and pin it on the door with my boxer shorts, but she woke up.

Typing Speed Tests At Skillshare

Waking up this morning, Lyssa didn’t even remember waking up last night or my endeavors.  Not having a shower, we both had something to eat and got ready for a walk to Campbelltown for my Typing Test.

The sun was very intense.  We both sweated walking down to Campbelltown.  Lyssa got burnt. At Skillshare we both sat down.  Then I was introduced to a computer.

Practicing for a couple of minutes, I began my test.  After two tests I realized my first test was my best.  The tester got my percentage wrong at first but my typing speed was 62 words per minute with an accuracy of 99.3%.  Very happy with the outcome, I received two originals and three copies as Lyssa and I thanked them.  Then we continued our journey.

Chill At Lyssa’s House

Catching a train to Leumeah, we walked to Lyssa’s house.  Sweating once again, we rested on the couches.  Stripping to my boxer shorts, we both had lunch.  Then we sat watching television.

In Perpetual Competition With Penelope

Penelope called while we were there.  Then she was coming over in half an hour.  Lyssa asked Penelope to hand in her form tomorrow as we will be in the City.  Penelope was coming to pick the form up.

While Penelope was over I sat in the lounge room eating my lunch, as they sat there for half an hour talking.  Penelope acted as if last night where she and Ali drove to the runs (and also with film for the camera to photograph Ali’s burnouts and oh, of course it was 400 speed film), was the best night of her life.  She bragged loud enough for me to hear it.

I feel that Penelope and Ali have always felt in competition with me and Lyssa.  For instance, Lyssa and I started to go out.  Then six days later Penelope and Ali had to top us by getting onto each other.  Not to mention the last time Lyssa and I visited Lonestar and were to see a movie together at the cinemas, Lyssa told Penelope.  The next day they did the exact same thing that we had done.  If they can’t top us, they have to equal us.

Penelope had to even show off her great relationship and her bettering of us by calling Ali’s house.  Talking to Ali’s sister for ten minutes like they were best friends, she asked for Ali to ring Lyssa’s house.  Penelope said, “And don’t worry, I’ll answer the phone,” like it was her house and she owned the rights to the phone.  I bet she felt good after she made the phone call.

Before, I used to think it was funny when Penelope (much more than Ali), played a game as if she was a princess and she had to have everything on a gold platter.

Ali Breaks The Ice

While Penelope was on the phone Lyssa came to talk to me and make me feel welcome, as we said a few words.  Then Ali called back.

Penelope once again tried to be loud so we could hear her excellent conversation.  The funny thing was that after she finished the conversation, Lyssa told me that Ali said hello.  I thought that him going to Bondi every day and having the best time of his life without me was good enough for him not to talk to me.

I’ve been thinking.  I feel that if Ali wants to befriend me once again he has to apologize for driving like a dick head the night of the runs a week ago.  I know that he would have listened to me if I told him to slow down, but the fact that he ignored my girlfriend while she was literally begging Ali to slow down, pinching Penelope hard on the shoulder – and she wasn’t any help to the situation.  It is the fact that he disrespected me through Lyssa that makes me angrier.  I think that he done it because he was jealous of what Lyssa and I are, and that’s not a fairytale relationship.

Playing Scream 2 Prank On Lyssa

Penelope went home.  Then Lyssa and I had a chat.

Lyssa and I soon were mucking around with our phones.  Lyssa called my mobile phone from her house as we stood a room apart and talked.  Then I called her back and pretended I was the murderer from Scream 2.

I said, “Hello Sidney.”

Lyssa jokingly hung up the phone screaming.  Then I chased her around the house with a black shirt over my head and pulling the ‘Scream’ face.

Calling Lyssa back, I stood outside and asked her, “Where am I, at the door or the window?”

Kitchen Table Chat With Kiley

Then Kiley came over from work.  All three of us sat around her kitchen table discussing the birthday parties coming up.  Kiley was lending Lyssa a business suit top tomorrow.  What we had to do was travel to her work in the City tomorrow.

After an hour, Kiley left.  Then I decided to leave after her.

Phone Calls Once Back Home

Anyway, I walked home all the way from Lyssa’s house.  I just missed Imad as he was driving in Campbelltown.

Reaching my house, Lyssa called me straight away.  We talked about tomorrow.

Then I was called by Jett who wants to plan something for this weekend.

Planning Interviews In Sydney

Right now I should be sleeping, as it is 11:30pm.  I have to get up at 6am to be at the station at 7:38am.

Catching a train to Leumeah, I will get off, meet with Lyssa and then travel to the City.  After our two hours interview and then another interview we will meet up with Carleigh for lunch.  Then Lyssa will spend some more time in the City before she sleeps over my house for the night.

Saturday night Lyssa is going to a party, so that leaves me with nothing to do for the night.  Penelope isn’t going to the party, which means that she has become Ali’s best friend and her only place to be.
