Lyssa Secures New Job In Sydney – Mad Chaos: January 31, 1998

Having a relationship should be just like Christmas.  You shouldn’t think about receiving, you should be more inclined to give.  For most of this relationship with Lyssa I have been giving.  Near the start of the relationship Lyssa didn’t mind receiving, and until now has built up her self-esteem to start giving more.  Like Christmas, you are always more happy and enthusiastic about receiving, but the thought of giving is more fulfilling than having been given all the gifts in the world.

This is the last day of the month and I can say that it hasn’t gone to plan.  I guess from the start of the month it has been going downhill, and now it almost hit the bottom.  With more and more bad news coming through there isn’t much for me to be comforted upon.

Trip To Sydney With Lyssa

Starting with Friday morning, I didn’t have trouble waking up at 6:00am for the day in the City.  At that time I also gave Lyssa a call, and she jumped up and answered the phone at such an early time in the morning.

Lyssa and I got ready.  As I caught the bus to Campbelltown Lyssa caught her bus.  Meeting at Leumeah we were stopped by Carleigh who was catching the same train to the City with us.  The trip there as usual was with conversation and gossip.  We made it to Sydney at 8:30am.

Walking to where Kiley worked, Lyssa picked up her jacket.  After talking to Kiley and viewing the colorful place in which she worked, we headed back downstairs.

The CES Job Interview

Reaching the CES we pretended at first not to know each other and sat down a seat apart.  Collecting some application forms, we sat down and filled them out.  Lyssa would frequently lean over and ask me questions regarding the form.  I noticed a girl sitting up front would overhear and probably think I was picking up women.

There were lots of smartly dressed people.  There was a blonde like Lyssa that overheard us.  She was very taught in her figure with confidence in her walk.  Greeting the people who interviewed us, about 20 of us walked into a conference room where Lyssa and I sat next to each other.

There was one guy that came late and was in a mess.  Putting on his business outfit with suspenders he walked into the room like he owned the place.  He looked like Jerry Lewis, always squinting his eyes like he needed glasses.

After a 20-minute briefing we started to get interviewed.  Lyssa was picked before me by the better interviewer.  As I was next I got the not so nice interviewer who was basically referring me to a traineeship.

As Lyssa did get a more enthusiastic interviewer (who chose her because he knew someone that lived in her street and also because she was attractive to the eye), she got the better referral, while I went through three jobs before a suitable one was found for me.  It seemed to me that the interviewer didn’t care for me and would rather send a skirt to the position.

For an address he wrote Level 2 on Clarence Street in the City and didn’t give me a number to contact.  What was dodgier was that he didn’t even phone the employer to tell him I was coming and told me that the employer might discriminate and ask very private questions.

Lyssa Interviews In Sydney

Lyssa and I began our walk to her interview, which was in half an hour as I completely disregarded my appointment.  Lyssa had an appointment on Elizabeth Street.  From what I had seen it was the best building on the block.

Waiting in the foyer, Lyssa caught a lift to the seventh floor.  After 45 minutes in her interview she came back out happy.  Lyssa told me that she didn’t think she would get the position but I was confident for her.

Lyssa Secures A New Job

Walking to Hound Dog Lyssa returned her pants and exchanged for the right size.  Coming out of Hound Dog my mobile phone rang.

Giving the phone to Lyssa she received a call from the employer and found that the job was hers.

The job she has now is basically an office assistant in a very busy and big Legal firm where she is on a one year Traineeship.  Lyssa starts on Monday and has to attend TAFE maybe two times a week.

Very stirred up, I ripped my appointment up and walked to Commonwealth bank where I filled in an application and pushed my way for an interview.  I was almost accepted for an interview where my résumé would have been a valuable asset to me, but that didn’t happen.

After that we returned the jacket to Kiley and had a talk to her before leaving.

Lyssa Sleeps Over

Coming back home on the train Lyssa and I walked in the blistering heat to her house, where we waited a couple of hours for her mum to come home.  Telling everyone the good news on the phone, her brother gave her a hug and her mum gave her a lift to my house for the night.

At my house we played around on the computer, since Lyssa will be using Corel Presentation on the computer at work.

Last night Lyssa and I were very intimate.  With the lights off and everything else off we tried new things and explored new paths I wanted to explore.  After the whole ordeal Lyssa and I were very satisfied, and sweaty.  Not too long after that Lyssa went to sleep.  Turning off the television, so did I.

Typing Practice With Lyssa

This morning Lyssa and I woke up around 11am. After watching Video Hits for an hour, Lyssa had a shower.  Lyssa and I played the computer and done some typing for most of the morning.  Lyssa also did some exercise on the bike.

Lyssa’s mum came to pick her up around 4pm.  Then I played around on a new game on my computer.

My phone was missing for the whole day and I was worried that I lost it on the way home on Friday.  Once Lyssa got home she checked everywhere and couldn’t find it.  Finally I suggested the car.  It was in the back seat from where I emerged yesterday when we jumped out at my house.

Lyssa and I talked for half an hour.  She told me how Nikita was trying to ring my mobile all day so she could get in contact with Lyssa.  Once again, Nikita is a very interesting person.

Lucas Explains His New Job

After Lyssa and I finished our telephone conversation, I played some more computer until I heard a knock on my window.  Watching ‘Married with Children’ Lucas came to my house.  He told me about a job he was accepted for.

The more in depth he talked about the position the more I realized it was the job in Burwood I didn’t want to go to because it was a small cottage house.  The part where they earned a billion dollars a year would have been right, as Lucas will be earning $60,000 a year.  $25, 000 would have been a weekly pay where $15, 000 would have been in incentives, and the rest would have been expenses and travel tickets.

The job would have involved me traveling to the City on business to restaurants with customers and talking to them about business deals.  I realized that this was a big opportunity I missed out on but I think that I would not have been capable to produce the work that Lucas could.  It’s a small world.

Lucas left for a party an hour later.

Phone Jewell For Hours

An hour after that, I called Jewell.

Jewell and I talked for two hours or so.  Since tomorrow was a year since I’ve known Jewell, we enlightened ourselves about that.  It was curious to realize that all this time I’ve known Jewell, I’ve only seen her in the flesh 20 days out of 365 and she’s still left a big impression on me and a mental image in my head.

Finishing the conversation at midnight I started writing in this dairy

Phone Lyssa

Then two paragraphs down Lyssa gave me a call.  As we talked I told her of what happened after she went to Marley’s party tonight with all the girls.

I also told her that I called Jewell.  She told me she thought that I would give her a call.  I’m not sure if she remembers that Jewell and I have known each other for a year when tomorrow comes, but she knew I would call her.

Lyssa and I talked about the party and how she ate plenty there, how Velda along with Rita and Shelby dogged everyone and didn’t end up going to the party.  Instead, they snorted through their nose.  Lyssa and I talked until 1:30am this morning until I got real tired.

Now I’m finishing the rest of this month, as this is the last day.  I hope that things will shape up for February, but as things will start to escalate and all the scares have finished, new things will come to me, as they always do for a new month.
