The premium sign-in bug, properly fixed
A lighter day, running on not much sleep, but one real bug got closed out: an intermittent premium/sign-in authentication issue where signing out and back in could leave the account stuck in guest mode with a failed Firebase sync. Logcat traced the behaviour on-device, and Claude worked out a fix; one block of code; which shipped as version 529.
“There was only one bug that I went through. I ran that bug through Claude. I also used Logcat to check what was happening on my phone, and it came up with a solution, it’s one block of code.”
Promotion, in between everything else
The rest of the day was spread across other commitments, with some time at the computer promoting Floor Is Lava on Twitter between errands.
