The first download from a stranger

A small but real milestone: downloads ticked up from 34 to 35 overnight; someone in America, with no prior connection to the project, found and installed Floor Is Lava on their own. No ad revenue came from it yet, but that wasn’t really the point.

“That was fun to see: someone from America. I checked whether that generated any ad revenue. It didn’t, which is fine. Getting the numbers up is good for now.”

Automating the promotion

One of the older, now-unused Twitter profiles got repurposed into a dedicated Floor Is Lava account, and a scheduled task was set up so promotional posting could run on its own. Cowork was already handling some of the automation load elsewhere too: uploading videos to the Loomwave channel to keep it active, and now given a folder of Floor Is Lava promotional videos and images with the right links to start publishing on its own.

Focus: first organic download from an unconnected user; Twitter and Loomwave promotion automated.
