Showing a friend the pipeline

Walked a friend through the whole AI-assisted development process today: Claude Design for UI mockups, Cowork for bulk diary/data processing, and Floor Is Lava as the flagship example of what a year of evenings with an AI collaborator can produce.

Friend: “Have you put the Personal Best app online yet?”
Me: “That’s the second app I’m pushing through. Floor Is Lava is going to be the first.”

The 12-tester, 14-day path to release

Asked Claude directly what’s actually required to release: move from internal testing to closed testing, with twelve Google accounts signed up and the app downloaded. The catch; it doesn’t verify anyone actually plays it, just that twelve accounts have installed it and fourteen days have passed. Once that clock runs out, publishing is unlocked.

The plan to hit that number: recruit friends as testers directly, promote on Facebook, and; cleverly; get Lance to hand out printouts about the game at school, so friends’ parents can download it too.
