Lyssa Too Sick For Work
Halfway through the month and I have nothing important coming up, not until next month anyway. Today was quite boring as well, but I was surprised.
10:30am in the morning the phone rang. I knew who it would be.
Lyssa answered with the phrase, “I’m sick Tony,” in her sympathetic, playfully adolescent voice.
That’s two days now that Lyssa was off at home, too sick to travel to College.
“Your group certificate from Centrelink came in the mail today,” Lyssa shared. “You’ve earned in excess of $2,000 from Centrelink.”
Now all I have to do is visit her house and obtain it. I doubt if I will get back a high return or one at all.
Being very tired, Lyssa knew. I went back to sleep for a couple of hours, informing Lyssa I would call later.
Private Porn Catalogue Arrives
Trying to sleep once again my mum walked in and handed me a large parcel. I knew it was from ‘Private’ with movies relating to the name of the company. There was a catalogue for me. Thinking I would view it upon waking up, I couldn’t get to sleep, so I opened the package.
There was their new 1998 catalogue. I enjoyed my reading, especially the part where they have their artistry on CD ROM for computers.
Early Afternoon Call From Lyssa
Three hours later I was just waking up from a short slumber. Nearing 2pm Lyssa called me. Lyssa beat me to the phone by a couple of minutes. From there we just talked for about half an hour.
“I feel so sick today,” Lyssa told me. “I have been talking to everyone on the phone, all day.”
Despite our plans to have a break for a couple of days, Lyssa and I talked around four times on the phone today.
“I thought you said we should not call each other for a couple of days, to see how we feel,” I remarked.
“It is just too distressing to break down our relationship suddenly,” Lyssa sighed.
After watching ‘Ricki Lake’ and ‘Oprah Winfrey’ (or rather Lyssa watched them and I played the computer), I called her back.
Lyssa Is Off The Pill
The next call was around 5pm.
After she talked to a couple of people on the phone I called around 7pm.
“I start Aerobics tomorrow with Kiley. I am starting to get skinny. I think it’s because I’m not on the pill anymore,” Lyssa said.
Not wishing to write a long entry I will also add that Ali took a day off work to be with Penelope today. That’s what Lyssa explained to me while we were on the phone anyway.
Lyssa Gets On My Nerves
Our last phone call didn’t last that long due to our frustrations with each other. Lyssa got on my nerves.
I told Lyssa, “I don’t have to listen to your arguments anymore.”
She got frustrated with me.
Then I uttered, “If you don’t want to hear my complaints then hang up the phone.”
Well it was something along that line. Guess what? We hung up the phone.
Lyssa didn’t call me back for the rest of the night. Slightly disappointed, I wasn’t at a total loss or boredom. I had my computer.
Planning Ahead
For the whole day and most of the night to come I will play the computer. But tomorrow I am visiting Campbelltown for two reasons. The first reason of my visit to Campbelltown is to collect the ‘Drum Media’. The second reason is to probably visit Centrelink.
Tomorrow I also have to hand in the game I rented from Video Ezy called ‘Myth’ since I’ve finished it.
Well, as only a short reminder of the day this has been, nothing special in substance, there I must leave this cursed entry. May ‘Allah’ have mercy within. That s the only remembrance I shall leave.
