Lyssa On A Date At The Movies – Mad Chaos: July 26, 1998

Last night after finishing my conversation with Lyssa I was awake all through the morning until 11:30am.  Waking Lyssa up this morning, we talked about her night last night.  Why wasn’t I surprised that she went out with Braxton?

Last night Lyssa left at 7:30pm half an hour before I called her when she asked me to call.  Lyssa got shattered on twelve glasses of beer along with Braxton.  Tell me if this isn’t planned, but Braxton’s parents were at the pub.  Lyssa sat down with the whole bunch as she was introduced.  Lyssa’s now in good with the family I would tend to think.

Lyssa was with Braxton all night.  I think she also went to Chevy’s because she was out until 4am  You could just picture the imagery running through their minds as they said goodnight to each other, half drunk.  Lyssa wouldn’t have been thinking about me, but I’m not asking her to.

Hanging up the phone, I was real tired and lay to have four hours of sleep.

Upon waking up today I had something to eat and then started on the PlayStation.

Lyssa Gets Angry Over The Phone

Lyssa called me back at 6pm when I was eating.  As a result I couldn’t talk that much.  Yes, it was a bit rude eating over the phone but I was very hungry and thought it would be rude to call back later.

That’s when Lyssa started getting frustrated saying, “You never talk to me on the phone.  It’s always me making the conversation.”

You could tell there was a purpose to what Lyssa uttered.

After the telephone conversation was over I realized that Lyssa was sizing me up to Braxton.  That could mean that Braxton held a conversation with Lyssa last night at the pub or even over the phone, and because he said a couple of nice things to Lyssa, she held that against me.  My uncaring nature was being sized up to Braxton.  If that’s the truth, I don’t think I appreciate that.

Lyssa Phones Back

Jett came over at 7pm.  We started to play the computer.

Lyssa called back in this time.  Seeing that I was busy, she probably took that as another insult to herself and once again sized me up to the competition.  Lyssa wants to make it set in her mind that she’s moving on to better.  So when I move on myself, that will do it for her, it’s an excuse.

All those times that Lyssa went to nightclubs in the City and other areas, she was looking and choosing, she was eyeing out the opposing sex.  Lyssa always told me she never looked, but from the stories I hear about their nights, she must have.  Only after Lyssa and I have broken up has she informed me about some mishaps in nightclubs.  But now who’s being stupid?

Play PlayStation With Jett

Jett stayed over my house and we played a grueling game of ‘John Madden Football’ on the PlayStation.

Hearing a car out the front of the house, we investigated and found it to be Imad.  Inviting Imad in, he lay on the bed, as we continued our dual cheering the both of us on in our sarcastic way.

As I was noting before, occurrences outside of the circle have a minute effect within.  Take for example Jett and Imad coming over tonight.  Harmless as that was, that prevented me from calling Lyssa or even Jewell.  As a result Lyssa would get upset and that would be detrimental to our ongoing relationship (or shall I say intimate friendship).  For Jewell, it would just feed her need for a single life as opposed to one without a great deal of commitment.

Imad left half an hour after visiting me (which was surprising).

Jett left an hour later.

Lyssa Is At The Movies

I told Lyssa over the phone that I would call her back in twenty minutes when Jett was over.  That extended to over an hour.  When I did call Lyssa back her mum answered.

“Hi.  I am looking for Lyssa.  Do you know where she is,” I asked her mum.

“She is out right now.  ” her mum told me.

“Do you know where she is out,” I furthered my query.

“She is at the movies.  I will tell her you called when she comes back.”

Not asking any more, I had my think about the possibilities.

Give Jewell A Call

Then I thought to call Jewell since it has been a couple of days.

Whenever I call Jewell these days it’s always an intimidating process at the start.  Thoughts run through my mind of how she doesn’t want to speak to me and how she would rather be left alone.  As a result of my thoughts I only spoke to Jewell tonight for half an hour.  This short time was against my will, but I had to leave it there even though I wanted to speak longer.

Jumping on the phone, I began, “Hey, what are you doing?”

I always think I am bothering Jewell or think that she is with someone.

“I am just studying Mathematics,” she told me.

“Oh, okay then, I will let you go,” instantly I wanted to retreat.

Jewell didn’t want me to retreat just yet.  So we talked for half an hour about nothing I can recall.

Feeling Bored Into The Night

When the conversation between Jewell and I was over, I felt lonely, as it was so early in the night.  The time was 9pm and I knew I wasn’t receiving a call from Lyssa.  Rather, I began watching television.  Luckily I became interested in a movie.

Now the movie is over and here I am writing in my Diary.  I’ve tried to call Imad tonight but he wasn’t answering his phone so here I am by myself.

In two days I have to visit ‘Centrelink‘ for their ‘Mutual Obligation’ scheme.  I know I want to find myself a part time study course in music or computers, but the problem is getting off my butt and getting it done.

Tonight I will try to get to sleep early because the interview on Tuesday is at 10am  This month is almost complete with only four or five days to go.
