Braxton Makes His Move On Lyssa – Mad Chaos: July 26, 1998

Lyssa Has The Flu

News just in… Lyssa gave me a call at 1am while I was just writing my Diary.  Lyssa was crying because her throat was very sore, so I was there for sympathy.  

Lyssa’s throat was so sore tonight she couldn’t even swallow.  It wasn’t a flu, but deep in her throat. It killed her.  Lyssa asked her mum to take her to the doctor, but being a prudish and selfish old woman, she denied her the satisfaction.  

Kuper was yelling at Lyssa while she was whispering on the phone.  With the kitchen door and Kuper’s door closed, I can’t see how her whispers were heard.  Lyssa started to get scared though.  Rather than sitting outside (because it was too cold for her) she opted to hang up the phone.  

Lyssa wants me to meet her in Campbelltown tomorrow so we can visit the doctor together.  It’s pretty funny how Lyssa takes every Monday or Tuesday off out of no fault of her own and still gets paid for it.  Lyssa can’t help being sick after all.

Lyssa Talks About Braxton

All that I have written tonight about Braxton and his ploy to snare Lyssa has been fairly true.  Lyssa did visit the cinema with Braxton tonight.  

They were talking on the phone tonight (that’s three night’s in a row).  He asked her if she would like to go to the movies.  Lyssa agreed.

Braxton has ulterior motives as I learnt tonight.  I know Lyssa does too, although she’s trying to conceal her infatuation with him.  

“Braxton called me up and we talked on the phone tonight,” Lyssa told me.  “He told me that he has not been with anyone since he was with me.”

Rather, Braxton boasts that he has been waiting for this whole year until he got back with Lyssa.  So Lyssa knows about his smoothing intentions and she’s going along with it, while filling me in.

Lyssa Extends Our Love Triangle

Once again, the triangle has been harassed by outside help.  Braxton speaking out to Lyssa has changed my thought a great deal.  Well, I would rather it have been Braxton after me because he’s sort of in comparison to me.  His body type and appearance are like mine, he looks like he has the same morals and instincts as me.  All in all, he won’t take advantage of Lyssa and he’s cunning enough to care.  

Who else would stake out for a whole year without even a word edgewise to proclaim his existence.  That is something I would do… sit in the shadows until it is time to swoop, and have images in the mind of the lady.  That’s what Braxton has done, as I feel Lyssa has placed thought into him a couple of times through our time together.  

Because Lyssa and Braxton never really broke up because I came into her life, it’s time for them to get back together.  

Lyssa should like his car, more freedom, and she might even get to drive it, bonus.

Our triangle stems out towards Braxton and his old ways.  Back in the day Braxton dumped his girlfriend.  Then three weeks later he got onto Lyssa.  That is sort of the same as this scenario, except I have no evidence or reason to believe that they are intimate with each other.  

Braxton was confused back then and everything was up in the air, sort of like the scenario now.  History has repeated itself with Braxton and Lyssa, and history will repeat itself with Jewell and I.

History Repeats Itself

Everything seems to be working right and like clockwork.  For example, I could have talked to Jewell tonight for a long time past midnight.  If that did happen I would have been confused when Lyssa called.  That would have placed mistrust in the triangle.  

Also, if both new couples pair up, my happy ending to my existence with Lyssa will come true.  Both of us will be elated with our new companions and because of that perfect timing, we won’t hate each other.

Jealousy is part of the deal these days.  When Lyssa went out tonight and I didn’t know who with, I was jealous, I admit, but not too emotionally.  Same with Lyssa when I am talking with Jewell or out somewhere, she doesn’t know, and that turns into jealousy.  Only until I found out the truth does the jealousy fade away.  

Hearing Lyssa was with Braxton tonight, I’m not jealous anymore because I now know what happened.  If Lyssa got onto Braxton it would bother me.  Once again, I wouldn’t be jealous but insulted, respectably.

Feeling Locked Up In My Bedroom

These days I don’t go out much anymore.  As a result of bad weather, nothing to do, late nights, lack of friends and no companionship, I am jailed in my room for lengthened periods of time often resulting in a couple of days to a week of solitude.  This is not me.  I soon plan to rectify my bad habits.  The only problem with bad habits is they are hard to break.

My beliefs are that if I either start courting with Jewell or occupy my days with schooling or work, then I am on my way to a more productive day.  Still, I don’t want to be too over-productive, and now I have had the best of both worlds.  

I’ve learnt what it was like to work late nights and then come back home with only enough time to eat, sleep, and do it again.  Then I’ve had the life where I can sleep in to whatever time I’ve wanted.  That is my reality.  Rather, I want to try something part time where I won’t be overworked and can still maintain a normal life outside of my responsibilities and commitments.  

On that note I shall go now and stay awake for another half an hour.  When the time reaches 2:30am I will get to sleep in preparation for tomorrow, or will I?

Thinking Of More Flings

Thoughts have crossed my mind of having a couple more flings with Lyssa before both our times come, to enjoy all that we can and enjoy ourselves in the process.  We are both still on the verge of letting each other go.  Knowing that Jewell isn’t ready (because she didn’t even want to make the effort to see me for the first time until I literally forced her) I’m sure Braxton can hold out for a couple more weeks.  Lyssa will forever be in my system.  Although she will be gone, she will never be forgotten.
