Rent Myth The Fallen Lords On PC – Mad Chaos: June 25, 1998

Just a couple of seconds to go of today.  Whoops, the clock just ticked over.  Oh well, technically, it’s still Thursday we be living in.

There was a rush to get onto my Diary tonight because today I bought a computer game from Video Ezy because it was getting boring.  Well, I’ve been playing that game now for a couple of hours.  It irritated me so much I couldn’t put it down.

Last night like I foretold, I didn’t get to sleep until 6:30am in the morning.  Today might be its equal as I have something to do for the next seven days (hired for seven days).

Last night I stayed up, watched soccer, used my computer, and when the light was up, I opened my curtains, closed my eyes and slept like a baby.

Lyssa Works In Accounts Department

Seven hours later Lyssa gave me a call from work, I wasn’t really that tired.  Lyssa didn’t wake me either, I was half awake as I usually am in the mornings deciding whether to roll out of bed or keep my eyes shut for another couple of minutes.

Conscious of the fact that Lyssa had plenty of work to do, she talked to me regardless.  She enlightened me on the fact that she is working in the Accounts section because they are short of staff.

Once our conversation was over I jumped up and had something to eat.  Not much going for me today, I sat watching television.  The least proficient stage of my boredom was when there was nothing interesting on television.  I didn’t want to listen to music or play games on my computer.  Hence, my thought of traveling to Bradbury shops popped up.

Review Myth – The Fallen Lords On PC

Adorning my body with clothes, I headed for the shops.  Seeing that little kid from a street or two away (I always think he’s the little kid from ‘Hey Dad’ that says “I’m only a little kid”), I tried to avoid him as I made my entry into Video Ezy.  Breezing through the games I finally picked out ‘Myth – The Fallen Lords’ because I liked commanding armies.

Myth The Fallen Lords PC Game Cover

The aim of the game Myth is to travel lands.  Each time with a different quantity of soldiers, archers and bomb throwing elves, you attack enemy armies.  Fully 3D.  It’s a great game, but I’m having problems with the fourth level.  There’s just too many bad guys.  That game kept me satisfied for most of the night.

Lyssa Argues Over Money

Then expecting a call from Lyssa, I heard the phone ring.  Turning down all volume, Lyssa and I talked for a little.  When I noted that I rented a game, she went off at me because that was the money supposedly for this weekend.  What Lyssa didn’t know was that I had enough money to travel to the movies and that’s all I needed.

Lyssa and I will be watching a movie at my house, which Lyssa wanted to rent.  The rest of the weekend apart from visiting the cinema will be at my house.  What’s Lyssa to go off at me if she still owes me $20 from my Credit Card?  With the $50 she has for the weekend I guess I could call it even.  Lyssa had to eat so I let her go because we were both hot tempered.

Session Singers Gives Feedback

Once again back to my game I heard the phone ring once more.  This time it was someone I didn’t expect, A Mr. Persistency.  Miles, a guy who sent me a demo tape with his voice (and that’s all) wanted to know what I was doing and why I hadn’t called back.  Now I know how employers feel when I keep hounding them about the position.  I’ll know never to do that again.

Mr. Persistency started pissing me off but caught me off guard and not in the mood to talk about my music.  I gave him a briefing of what was happening.  After a little joke (about how all the guys were called Miles that have sent me demo tapes), we said goodbye.  Hopefully, this very enthusiastic individual won’t bother me again.  Hopefully I will call him up when the time is right.  The question you need to ask yourself is, “Does persistence pay off?  Well does it… punk?”  Spoken in a Clint Eastwood fashion, it just might make sense.

Lyssa Mocks My Diary Day

Lyssa called me back some minutes later apologizing to me.  When all was okay we chatted but both of us weren’t really in a chatting mood.  Along the line, Lyssa asked me if I still write in my Diary.  Commenting that I still did, she remarked how small in size this entry would be because I hadn’t done anything for the whole day.

Her caption for my entry was, “Woke up today, was real bored, bought a computer game, and called Lyssa.”

That couldn’t be further from the truth.  But as a scarce few know, my Diary is laden with words, grammar and pronunciation of great depth.  Sometimes it surprises me.

Well, of the day, I didn’t talk that much, but to philosophize is a great pleasure that I embrace often.

A Question Of Loyalty

Lyssa and I finished talking at 8pm where Lyssa was going to read her book and then fall asleep some time later.  Me thinks that Lyssa doubts my loyalty in the fact that every day she asks me if I’ve called anyone.

Now I know to some degree, I haven’t been loyal.

Heck in most peoples mind, I’m a hurtful and corrupt human but my point was… I forget.

Me thinks that Lyssa called me late one night when I was ringing Jewell.  I remember that night, the Call Waiting rung once, and then nothing.  Lyssa never questioned me the next night or if I called anyone or talked to anyone.  Something’s fishy I tell ya.

Another thing, pointing out that Lyssa and I have agreed to break up at the end of this year, whenever I say something like, “What are you getting me for my birthday,” Lyssa would reply negatively, like “Nothing.  I’m not going to know you on your birthday.”

Any day past the last day of this year, Lyssa knows no significance to the both of us.  Myself, I don’t like commenting in that way about our evident break up in the near future.  Lyssa must have struck a nerve.

Anyway, now I’m going to have a shower, since I haven’t had one today.  Then I will do some sit-ups when I come back in, before I jump back onto the computer.  Gotta go, see ya.
