Planning Our Anniversary – Mad Chaos: May 21, 1998

Here I am again talking for today.  Last night I was awake until 4am in the morning.  With the vibe of fixing the artwork on my computer, I didn’t finish until early in the morning and finally went to sleep.

Make Plans With Lyssa

This morning, Lyssa gave me a call at 11am in the morning.

“Are you coming to meet me in the city,” she asked.

After quickly agreeing I went back to sleep for another hour.

Waking up at midday I had a shower, something to eat, put my hair in a ponytail and then ventured out towards Campbelltown on foot.

Jumping The Train To Sydney

At Campbelltown I visited the Mall and picked Lyssa’s shoes up.  From there I walked straight to the station.  Without buying a ticket I headed for the City.

On the train, there was a geriatric geezer talking to whomever he could.  He reminded me of an old war veteran that thinks he’s never too old to whip but (even though he had a black eye).  The train ride to Sydney was colorful, as I jumped off at Central.

What I was hoping to do was find a way out at Central without using a ticket.  I walked to most ticket gates but there were ticket people on all of them.  Catching another train I then traveled to Museum station but the same thing eventuated.

Catching a train back to Central I double-checked and was lucky to find an opening where the Country trains were.  Walking to the ticket machines I purchased a ticket and then headed for St. James station.

Discover New Music In HMV

Jumping off the train I headed to HMV to listen to some music.  Grabbing ‘Jagged Edge’ off the rack I had a listen to it.  It’s a good CD.

Not having enough time to listen to another CD I quickly ran to meet Lyssa.  Taking a wrong turn somewhere I ended up further from Lyssa’s work than expected.  I eventually got there.

Lyssa Has A Fat Complex

Giving Lyssa a kiss we walked our way towards Pitt Street stopping off at a clothing store with lots of coats.  Lyssa was looking for a coat to buy from the window, an expensive one too.  After doing some shopping and listening to one more CD in HMV, we headed to get some food.

Lyssa was sad about her weight.  She was having a problem and vowed to fix it.  Lyssa told me she is buying an aerobics video, going to the gym and starting to trim down on her food intake.  Lyssa wants to be skinny again she told me.

The food was great.  Lyssa bought a fruit salad for herself.  I bought a custard and rice thing.  Then we both enjoyed some ravioli.  When we finished eating we headed for the train and on our way home.

Return Home With Lyssa

Lyssa and I didn’t have trouble finding a seat on the train.  Sitting down, we talked about how it has been eleven months.  Although we didn’t do anything special on the day, we will be going to Chili’s tomorrow to eat and then head for my house.

Lyssa and I were having a great old time on the train.  Most of the way back we were mucking around, flicking each other on the hands, biting each other, pretending we were on a roller coaster and just plain having fun.

A couple of bites and kisses later we arrived in Campbelltown.  Jumping off, Lyssa recognized a friend of hers.  Actually it was Alys, one of Rita’s friends (or maybe even her sister).

After their little chat we sat down to wait for our buses.  While we were seated we were making fun of the art of kissing.  We practiced the screen kiss and clashed our heads really hard, pretending to kiss.  We done soft and hard kisses and were being fools.  There was nothing else to do and we were having fun.

My bus came first.  Jumping onto it, I told Lyssa I would call her when I arrived home.  Giving her a kiss I jumped on and waved her goodbye.  Lyssa and I were being really happy today.  It was great.

Booking A Hotel Room

Getting home I thought to give Wollongong Novotel a call to see what the prices are for rooms.  Talking with reception for a couple of minutes, I booked a room with a balcony, a view of the ocean and a private spa within it on level five.  All of this for a cheaper price than what they were asking.  This was booked on the day Lyssa and I have been going out for a year, which is June 21st.

Ali Shares Car Crash Story

In the middle of me talking on the phone Ali knocked on my window.  Hanging up the phone I opened the door and let him and Penelope in.  Ali came over to look at the car pictures on my computer.  As I loaded them up we talked on a number of topics.  One of them was really interesting.  It involved Imad and happened around the time I called him and he was driving around with his redhead friend.

Last night Imad and the redhead met up with Ali.  They were driving around somewhere.  From what I heard, the redhead wanted to drive the car.  Imad let her drive in the industrial area at Ingleburn.  Never having driven a manual car before she thought she was Peter Brock, in the fast lane and all.  She was supposedly all over the road going top speed in Imad’s car.  She didn’t start braking when Imad told her to.  Because of that, she hit a Commodore at the speed of 40-50km/h.  Lucky for Imad it wasn’t faster or else I would have lost a best friend to stupidity.

Penelope seemed angry with Ali.  After twenty minutes, she was very eager to leave.  Ali told me she was angry with Ali because he didn’t tell her something last night.

Phone Lyssa With News

Giving Lyssa a call after that, we talked on the phone for around half an hour or more.  I told her the good news about Novotel.  The only problem would be that when that day came, it would be a Sunday.  Because of that, Lyssa would have to take the day off on Monday, which is good in a way.

The room price also includes a breakfast buffet.  Lyssa and I will be enjoying the seafood buffet in the evening.  When the conversation was over, we said our goodnights, our I Love You’s, and then we were off.

I’m not really fond of writing in my Diary tonight.  I have lots to do apart from this.  Let me just say, Lyssa and I will be together tomorrow and Saturday night so no Diary on those nights.  Lyssa doesn’t attend College on Monday and Tuesday anymore.  From next week Lyssa only attends College on Friday.

Plan To Write Poem To Lyssa

While writing my Diary entry tonight I had a flicker of inspiration to write Lyssa some poetry.  I’m not sure if I still have it in me to write remarkable poetry to Lyssa but I’m going to try.  Why not surprise Lyssa with something she hasn’t received for a while?  Lyssa keeps reminding me how I never send her any more letters or rarely send her flowers any more.  That is true.  So tonight and tomorrow I’m going to try and make our eleven months together just that bit more special.

Tomorrow I am handing in Ali’s form.  Then I am heading for Lyssa’s house where I will spend most of the day.  When Lyssa comes home from work she will get dressed.  Then we will head out for Chili’s.

I really want to see Lyssa in a skirt and tomorrow might be the night.  Lyssa hasn’t worn a skirt for a long time now, a couple of months now.  Lyssa told me that if I buy her some fake tan then she will have no problem.  Might as well buy it for her.

If Lyssa is lucky and I write something tonight, I will print it at the library tomorrow and then give it to Lyssa at her house.

Now I’d better get off and start my mind.

I’ve had one idea.  Since we’ve been together for eleven months I might write her a poem where every line or rhyme details what was significant in every month.  Sort of like the twelve commandments.
