A Confusing Poem For Lyssa

Starting a new edition to my Diary, I’d just like to recite the poem that I had written for Lyssa tonight.  Words didn’t come easy to me even though there was some inspiration there.  The outcome of the poem was confusing.  Only to my mind does it remotely make sense.  With this poem that I’ve written, I know even though things between Lyssa and I were pretty perfect, our glamour is starting to fade away.

Gone are the days when Lyssa and I were caught up in each other (explained as our adolescent days in the poem).  Now, days of maturity have been brought forward, and all those deep and meaningful conversation we used to have between us have paved a better understanding between Lyssa and I.

Lyssa and I might do less, but I don’t love her any less.

I might do some real stupid things within the relationship but I still love Lyssa.  Here’s the poem.

I sit here tonight with a clouded mind, not knowing what to write,

It has been a while since a day forgone, that I’ve set my mind to run free,

Today I write to you, not in riddles and not in rhymes,

From my heart and from my mind you will hear me speak,

Where is it firm to begin, as eleven months have gone by not near nor far,

There have been times of sunshine and where bright stars rain,

And as the sands fall in our vision, we have seen it all,

Constantly, you and I have changed, we have grown to become one,

Life, it makes you wonder, within a whisper, were we meant to be,

Or do our paths meet once again or run separately, within a tranquil mind,

You will find your answer, leaving it to be short and sweet,

In my heart, I will always hold a place for you, where gone are the days,

Meaningful in a sense of depth, you and I had our hearts set,

Just like a child, reaching a higher stage of life, we have grown,

We are forced to reminisce at our adolescence, in essence of our maturity,

As we move on, so do I, so does life, lost in an infinite suggestion,

Let me end this, with my deepest gratitude, with my meaningful words,

I love you, and I thank you, for all the great times we have endured,

A wealth has been gained, and as time goes by, when you read upon this,

Whether with or without my embrace, you will always remember the beginning,

Foremost, our new experiences together, special to the heart you shall hold them,

Four seasons forth, as the leaves sway to the ground, to touch softly,

We begin again, another winter’s day, to heed the call of June,

And to you I call, although you know, for my memories will never fade…

I was working on this poem all of Thursday night and then finally went to sleep after saving it onto a disk.

Lazy Weekend Home Movie

Saturday morning came and Lyssa woke up at 9am asking me for a hug.  Because I was still half-asleep and grumpy I denied her a hug and asked her to give me one.  Lyssa was upset.  After some huff and puff she jumped up to have a shower.  When she came back she wanted me to wake up, but I told her it was too late.

As she turned the television on I started to get angry but kept sleeping.  An hour passed and Lyssa thought she would walk to Bradbury shops to buy something to eat.  As she walked her way out I decided to finally wake up but lay in bed.

Lyssa came back from the shops as I let her in the house.  She had bought a video for the both of us to watch and some croissants, which we both dug into.  Lyssa also brought over some crumpets.  I walked upstairs to toast them for her.  Bringing them back down with some Vegemite on them that Lyssa also bought, she found them to be too soggy and didn’t eat them.  Not really angry with each other, we turned on the movie.

Every other movie was rented out and this was the only decent one there.  The movie was fairly good, had a few laughs in it and was a love-based movie.

Getting Hot With Lyssa

When the movie was over, Lyssa and I lay back on my waterbed to attract the sun rays that were shining in through my window.

As we sat there and were mucking around with each other, Lyssa kept responding to my private part with her hands.  Knowing what this would eventually lead to, I was asked to have a shower.  Then coming back Lyssa was ready to pounce.

Lying back down on the bed, I asked Lyssa to wait until I was barely nothing so I could build up for her during.  Lyssa had no problem with that.  Finally, with Lyssa’s spontaneity I received some oral.  Lyssa was doing great but near the end her mouth started to get numb and dry, luckily for me I was almost there, which eventually happened.  Lyssa cleaned up the mess afterwards.

Jett Shares Some Stories

While we were watching television after that Jett knocked on my window.  Without a shirt I walked outside into the cold breezes to talk with him.  There I stood for an hour or more talking with Jett as he told me some stories.  We talked about Jett’s mountain bike and where he rides it and how Tod is a dog.

Jett then told me the full story on Uati and how he is in detention for six months.  From what I heard, this white guy asked out Uati ‘s sister and she said no to him.  He told her that if she said no he would bash her up.  Uati ‘s sister eventually told her brother.  After that, Uati tracked him down, whipped out a machete and started laying 6cm gashes into his body.  Eventually the cops came.  Uati was still standing over his body.  Damn good story if you ask me.

A Change Of Plans

Meanwhile Lyssa was in my room calling Penelope and Ali because Penelope was sick on Saturday night.  Finally, I told Jett that I had to get ready to go out to Lonestar, so he left for home.

Walking back into my room Lyssa was talking to Kiley on the phone, canceling a party she might have been attending.  Once Lyssa was off the phone she basically told me that our plans to go out to Lonestar tonight had been canceled because I was supposedly going out with Ali.

What was really happening was that Lyssa didn’t feel like going out with me on Saturday night and a night out with Penelope seemed better (even though they had no plans whatsoever).  Calling Ali we made plans to head for the City.  Then as he had a shower Lyssa called Penelope.  Lyssa just verified the plans she already made with Penelope while I was talking to Jett, and so it was on.  Lyssa had a shower.  Then half an hour later Penelope picked her up.  So our night out was canceled but I didn’t really seem to mind that much.  I kind of wanted to hang out with Ali also.

Relive Teeny Bopper Days

When Lyssa left, Ralf and Lucas were out the front of my house.  As they left, the boys walked up to my room shaking my hand.  Ralf told me he wanted to hear the tape that I have of the song (as he said).   I thought he was talking about my recording.  Getting out the tape he then reminded me it was the tape we were listening to when Shawn was also over, the tape of the three of us rapping about our old Teeny Bopper group.  Hearing that I felt cheapened.

I carried on with getting ready to go out as Ralf had a couple of cheap laughs about the good old days.  Ralf and Lucas were headed up to Ralf’s brother’s house.  Lucas was driving him up there, as if he had nothing else better to do.  Lucas asked me if Imad could get him a television, sound system and two video players (It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what type of movies he was thinking of dubbing).

Ali finally showed up.  Then it was time to head out.  Lucas and Ralf jumped in their car.  Then we took off for Campbelltown at 8pm.  We were also supposed to meet up with Imad later in the night.  We tried calling his mobile phone but it kept ringing out.

Driving up the main street we found nothing, so we then drove to Woodbine McDonald’s.  There was nothing there also, so we drove all around Campbelltown before deciding to head off for Sydney.

Find Our Girls In Parramatta

On the way to the City we first stopped off at Parramatta to check out the street life.  I was surprised to find a couple of nightclubs out there, a couple of Restaurants and plenty of people.  The only downer was that there are more beautiful looking girls in the loads at the City, but Parramatta had potential.

Calling the girls up we found out they were in Parramatta.  Then we decided to try and locate them while telling them we were in the City.  They told us they were at ‘Ziggy’s Restaurant’.  A couple of laps of Parramatta we found our destination.  Making a couple of laps of the main street around the restaurant, we called the girls back up and they walked downstairs to talk with us.  The girls were with Bielka and Delaney having some hot chocolates.

Penelope walked over to Ali’s window as Lyssa walked to mine.  We both had different conversations.  Lyssa was asking if she was still staying over my house.  I told her yes.  A couple of minutes later they were heading back for ‘Ziggy’s’ but not before showing us where Bielka’s car was.

With that information, Ali parked the car right next to Bielka’s car while I jumped out and ripped off one of her hubcaps.  Two cars pulled around the side while I was doing it, but I just laughed and jumped in Ali’s car.  It was a lean stretch of road.  We crawled past the cars that had seen us before getting out.  Tossing the hubcap in the back seat, we began our journey to Sydney again.  All this time we tried to call Imad but he was nowhere to be found.

Whilst in the City, we cruised past all the main streets, past Kings Cross and through Oxford Street.

While in Kings Cross we saw a couple of very good-looking girls in skirts.

Cruising past them I thought it would be appropriate to whistle and make them feel special.  Skirts were all over Oxford Street where all the nightclubs are.  Cruising around the city some more, we received a couple of honks from some cars with chicks in them.

Ali’s Lucky Escape With The Police

Giving the girls a call again, we started our journey to Enfield to meet up with them.  On the way to Enfield we raced a couple of cars, some fast, some slow.  Then turning into Burwood we pulled into a side street to do a U-turn into where we though Penelope was.  Right behind us was a cop.  Before doing a U-turn we turned the car off.  Lucky.

The cops jumped out and told Ali that he was being followed all the way from the City. The cops clocked him on the radar at speeds over 100 Km/h.  The funny thing was that the cop was a nice guy (rare these days). He let Ali off with a warning, even though he might have seen Ali stalling it up at the lights running one particular car and then dumping it.

As the cops disappeared, Ali counted his lucky stars.  Then we called the girls.  Penelope showed up a minute later in her car.  Then jumping out of the cars Ali told Penelope his story, as I sat with Lyssa.  Jumping back into the cars on this cold night we headed back for Campbelltown.

Racing The Celica Back Home

Penelope was pissed off with Ali’s driving as he caned up her ass and almost hit her.  Nearing Campbelltown and almost home, Ali thought he would play hide and seek with Penelope as she was driving so slowly.  He sped up in front of everyone and we hid in a side street.

Creeping out after Penelope had cruised past we drove a fair bit behind them.  Reaching the stretch of highway just before Campbelltown, Ali booted his Celica past the girls and a couple of other cars at around 180 Km/h.

Creeping around the corner we thought we would play a harsh joke on the girls.  Slowing the Celica’s speed down dramatically, we skidded to a halt and then parked the car sideward on the grass.  Leaving the lights on and as I opened my door, we both hung like we had crashed off the road and were injured.  Penelope drove past us slowly and then parked the car.  Penelope jumped out after some time, parking it meters up the street.

Looking out the window I noticed Penelope starting to jog to the car.  As she opened Ali’s door she had seen us both slumped over.

The first thing Penelope said was “What are youse doing.”

Ali jumped up to scare her.  Then she turned and walked to the car.  Ali and I had a big laugh.  Then on the way back home they didn’t want to talk to us and kept sticking their fingers up at us.

Hang Out At McDonald’s

Later that night when we stopped at Woodbine McDonald’s Lyssa was telling me how she was shaking in Penelope’s car.  Lyssa didn’t want to jump out of the car.  When Penelope came back she was worried.  I kind of feel slack but the girls were alright about it and had a laugh with us.

While at Woodbine McDonald’s we bought some food to eat and talked to Toby who was there with a couple of friends.  He soon left.  The four of us then sat in Penelope’s car.  Lyssa and I sat in the back trying to keep each other warm and eat.

Ali and Penelope were in the front doing their act.  Their act consists of talking freely about things like Penelope’s period, kisses in front of us, talking about their marriage and what colors they are painting the toilet, Ali lying his head in between Penelope’s legs, and Penelope talking about sex freely as if she was actually doing it.

Lyssa wanted to go home so we went to wait in Ali’s car because Penelope didn’t want to make a long trip.  In Ali’s car we sat for 15 minutes waiting for Ali to get out of Penelope’s car.  They knew we wanted to get going, but for their act, they kept kissing for the 15 minutes, occasionally looking into our car to see if we were looking at them.  When we were looking, they would smile and carry on.  Who cares what they’re doing and if they think they have such a great relationship they have to show it to us explicitly.

Ali eventually jumped in the car.  We drove past Queen Street before heading for my house.  Saying goodbye to Ali we were dropped off at my house.  Lyssa and I were so tired and cold that we lay the bed and a couple of minutes later lay down to sleep.  We had a few words of the night just past though and complained about how Ali and Penelope were showing off.
