Creating Lyrics To New Song ‘Visions’ – Mad Chaos: September 26, 1997

Yesterday was an interesting day for me.  I had no time to write the diary on the Amiga 500 at home. Once again I’ll have to write it from work.

Creating Lyrics To New Song “Visions”

While working at Martinson Engineering yesterday I done some more lyrical work and produced another song named Visions.

Visions

(VERSE)

Can you play me a video, when I was only sixteen,

Cause I want to remember, my childhood dreams,

How I changed from a boy to a man,

And didn’t even have to hold my mummie’s hand,

Now as I look back, it aint much different,

(Ex)’cept all of these visions have now become true,

Cause I believed, as I grew older,

that my dreams are here to stay and my visions weren’t going away,

(CHORUS)

Visions, oh Visions,

Of eating my caviar and drinking my wine,

Visions, oh Visions,

Of just getting older and having the best time of my life,

(VERSE)

I had a vision when I was younger,

But no one would listen to me,

So I kept to myself and now they wonder,

How did he ever get the better of me,

Now those people, I left behind,

Don’t know what’s ever going on in their minds,

Cause they’re still livin’ day to day,

And if they just listened to their dreams they wouldn’t be driftin’ driftin’ driftin’ away,

(CHORUS)

Visions, oh Visions,

Of eating my caviar and drinking my wine,

Visions, oh Visions,

Of just getting older and having the best time of my life,

(VERSE)

I had a vision when I was only sixteen,

But no one would listen to me,

So I kept to myself and now they ask themselves,

How has he continued to be so happy all of these years,

I worked a long day, from nine to five,

But I always kept my dreams alive,

I never gave up hope like many others do,

And all those visions helped me cause all of my dreams came true,

(CHORUS)

Visions, oh Visions,

Of eating my caviar and drinking my wine,

Visions, oh Visions,

Of just getting older and having the best time of my life,

(INSTRUMENTAL)

Having not shaved for a week, you can gather I haven’t had enough time to myself to do what I want to do, but I’m not complaining.  I need work at Martinson Engineering to help me with ideas about music.  It’s my thinking spot.  I also need the funding for my projects.

Looking To Rent An IBM Computer

Coming home yesterday after printing out some documents, Ali and I drove to Macarthur Square with Lyssa and Penelope in the car.

Once there I shopped around for an IBM computer to rent for a month so I could complete my Midi sequencing at home instead of paying for a studio to make my music.

Looking around, I found a very cool computer, black in color and looks very intelligent, new and it only costs $1,800 for a 1.3 gigabyte hard drive with CD-ROM, Disk Drive, 16MB Ram and it comes with a built in 33.6K modem and free Bubble-Jet Color Printer.  Now that’s a deal.

But from what I heard, the deal ends this Sunday.  They don’t have much stocked, so I’ll consider (even though it’s a stupid idea to hear at first) to take one of their finance options and pay 26 percent interest over a year.

The most I’d pay is $40 a week over a year.  I’ll still have money to purchase other goods and will have this paid off just after my birthday.

Dreaming Of Music Production Career

On Saturday I’m purchasing those CDs for Johnnie’s dad.  If I’m lucky, I will have most of that on my hard drive.  This will be unbelievable if I do purchase an IBM computer because everything will be so much easier for me.  My producing career in the music industry will have a beginning.

After this IBM computer is mine, I’ll be able to buy every package under the moon from my supplier and teach myself to use all packages for work purposes.

Imagine how good it would look to an employer to see that I’m familiar with at least 10 packages, and for each package I’ve got an example of what I can do!  That’s amazing!  Not to mention I’m a fast typer and quick learner.

Lyssa Is Moody At Hurley Park

Lyssa was a little moody last night because it’s that time of the month again.  But there were times (most of the time) where she was happy.

Last night we drove to Hurley Park.  As Lyssa and I took a walk, we talked about the first time we got onto each other.  We hugged once again for an eternity within each others arms.

This poem that I’ve created for Lyssa is complete.  All I have to do is make it all pretty, and I’m good at being creative.
