My Plan to Make Money by Committing Fraud – Mad Chaos: June 4, 1997

Four days into the month and oh how smoothly things are running.  I’m happy for a good change in my life.

A Sudden Spark To Commit Fraud

Today at work I thought about an idea in my head, only someone like me could think of it.  My idea would be illegal and if it pulls through, then I could have a lot of money into my pocket at the end of the ordeal.

The idea – and I’m only telling this to my diary – is for me to obtain a birth certificate of someone that has most recently died (maybe by a freak accident) and is young.

Once I have a birth certificate I’ll start obtaining more and more proof of I.D., but not of me or my face.  It’ll all be done on the phone or in private.

Once this is done, I’m thinking of having a bank account opened on my name.  Then I will try to open a credit card account.

After carefully using this and not using the money given by the bank (traceable), I’ll apply for a loan on this ghost person’s credit.  This person will have a PO Box, a telephone number in a deserted house where I can connect a phone line and no one will know about it.  Divert it to a mobile phone number (completely new phone for this purpose only).  This is when I can involve my ghost man for serious felonies.

What I want to do is experiment with the system first.  Then when I have acquired all information and I.D., I’m going to apply for a loan.  If I’m not impatient and I get it, then I’ll pay it off quickly and let the ghost apply for a much larger loan, which I will then keep along with whatever else I can apply for.

Movies from video shops, rented shit, almost anything I can get my hands on.  Nothing can get traced back to me because it would all be traced back to the PO box number.

The good thing about this is that the PO box will be in a desolate area away from where I am, the address will be somewhere completely different.  I’ll work somewhere else.  Everything will be spread out, nothing in Campbelltown.

I can’t be busted for anything also because unless I explain in detail what I’m doing in my diary if caught, I’m in trouble.  If in the case I do get caught, I know I’ll get a long time for a fraud like this.

After work I thought about that on the train and on the way home.  If I can get myself a fake birth certificate then I can get almost anything.

Ringing Jewell

At home I called up Jewell while Jett was here.  She hasn’t received anything from me yet.  Peculiar but that’s good timing for me as always because she has bought a new system worth $900 for her room.  She can pump my CD once she gets it.

This gave me time to explain to her that it’s only a friendly gesture and not to think about it too much.  However, I’m hoping that she places lots of thought on this CD, because I did.  I want her to appreciate it, and I know she will.

Right now I’m going to check Jolly Rogers Cookbook on the Amiga 500, see if I can get a birth certificate, and then go to sleep bright and early for tomorrow.
