The debugging sheet
Claude’s latest build had no real bugs in it; the game was just doing exactly what it had been told to do with coins and power-ups, which wasn’t always what I actually wanted. So I built a debugging sheet: a table of scenarios. If I die, what happens? If I win, what happens? Do I have coins or not? Do I have power-ups or not? I spent 30 minutes playing through every combination, wrote up what went right and what went wrong for each one, fed the whole sheet back into Claude, and had everything fixed in two prompts.
Mobile fixes and a settings toggle
I zoomed the mobile view out, added a zoom button and a sound toggle to the nav bar, and pushed the code to GitHub so I could test on my phone. The stalagmites turned out to be drawn in the wrong place on mobile: Claude tracked that down and fixed it while I was out on a delivery. When I got back I asked for a proper settings panel in the nav bar covering sound and zoom.
Late-night session: off to ChatGPT
By 3:10 a.m. I’d wrapped up an intense stretch of development. After finishing the written diary for April 28, I opened ChatGPT to keep building, but it doesn’t hold onto a game session the way Claude does; I’d upload a file and it would tell me it couldn’t see all of it.
“It is kind of like having a flashlight in the dark, and you can’t see the whole room. You can only see a small part of the room where you are walking, not the entire room, and you are bumping into things. That is the problem with ChatGPT: it creates unnecessary darkness in the production.”

Diary Of A Mad Chaos is a daily diary written from March 1996 until today, of which individual books and book series have been created, namely “The Lost Years” an exploration of young, entwined love, the “Wubao In China (猎艳奇缘)” book series which provides an extensive comparative analysis of the cultural differences between Eastern and Western societies, and the book titled “Foreigner (华人)” an exploration of race relations in Australia.
