Designing The CD Cover Art

For the past two hours or more, I’ve been sitting here on this computer working out the art.

Such a simple job it should have been where I only had three objects to work out and I already knew where they were going.  The only thing I had problems with was choosing the background color.  I chose a gold and golden brown swirl of colors stemming from the middle and swirling out.  That is a fancy little attraction.  Together with the Misty Moo picture, I had it Illuminated, so that the background and some yellow would be coming through it.  That blended very nicely.

Next it was time for the Piano logo and the Ring logo.  With both pictures on the right-hand side, I had no problems sorting out color coordination with the wording.

Now the whole of the artwork is finished.

In two hours I’ve made the CD artwork look professional, but more importantly beautiful and attractive to the eye.

Lyssa will really appreciate what I’ve done here.  Well, I hope she will.

Oh yeah, don’t think that I’m starting to have late nights again.  This is a one-off really and right now I’m as tired as a motherfucker.  My face is starting to droop, so I’m going to sign off soon and get to sleep for the hard day ahead.

This CD is going to be some piece of work, one that Lyssa will like for a long time.  Can’t say the same thing for all the songs and her appreciation of them, but there are at least six songs that she will like, including that of R. Kelly.

Anyway, gotta sleep, tired, gotta sleep, tired, gotta…
