Cruise To Parramatta With Ali – Mad Chaos: July 5, 1998

There are a lot of things I haven’t written about tonight.  For one, the weekend which I will probably comment about tomorrow.

Visit Imad At Mobil Petrol Station

Trying to stress the important factors mostly of this very complete weekend, I’ll start with Ali picking me up on Saturday night.

Ali and I drove around at first looking for runs.  Following a dead end feeling, we then headed for Imad where he was working at Mobil in Ingleburn.  Parking the car we walked in only for a couple of seconds because Imad noticed the redhead’s car pulling up.  Ali was still borrowing her mobile phone so it was time to scoot off because she would ask for it back.

Cruise To Parramatta With Ali

From Imad’s work, we headed up towards Parramatta where we began our tour of the hot spot destinations.  Driving up the street where the railway station is, Ali booted his car pausing at the top of the street.  Luckily he stopped at that time as there were two or three cop cars parked up the top anticipating rev heads like Ali.  They didn’t take much notice to us as we slowly drove past trying to act like nothing had happened, eradicating the problem.

Driving down the other side of the buildings, we drove past one of the new nightclubs and noticed a couple of good-looking girls.  Finding it a shallow area to drive in considering parked cars on either side, we took caution down the road.

Police Pull Ali Over

Nearing the bottom of the street I noticed a Police Officer standing on the side of the road and directing us to pull over as soon as we drove onto the main street.  Ali didn’t notice this until I pointed it out to him.  Even then he didn’t understand where he had to pull over.

Driving onto the main street, we noticed the cops were on mountain bikes.  There were two more police officers waiting for us to pull over.  Ali noticed the bike but didn’t notice the police officer standing in front of it urging Ali to park behind the bike.  Not seeing the police officer in front of us, I tried to note to Ali in where he had to park, but he was completely oblivious to what I was saying, like a blind spot in his brain.

Ali was going to park in front of the bike because of mounting traffic behind us.  Ali wasn’t paying attention.  Not seeing the police officer in front of him he continued progressing slowly forward.

The cop in front of us thought we were trying to run him over.  Trigger happy as the officer was, he hesitated for a second moving backwards.  Then he drew his 9mm Beretta at Ali.

Police Pull Guns On Us

The cop screamed out “Freeze!  Stop your vehicle and put up your hands!”

Ali finally realized who was in front of him.

Cops swarmed the Celica.

Ali and I both moaned at what had just happened.  Unimpressed, slowly we put our hands up, arching our forearms 90 degrees to our elbows.

Not that thrilled with the event that was taking place, I was shocked that we had guns pointed at our heads.  Feeling a tangent of fear and panic and knowing Ali was half frozen behind his wheel while the gun was to his head, we both followed the calls from the police outside our car.

Running to my door and tapping, he ordered us out of the car.  Opening the door we were continually reminded of the fact we had to have our hands up.  Now out of the car, we were escorted with guns considerably lowered to the nearest wall.  Asked to put our hands on the wall we could say we knew the drill.

While I was being searched and patted down, Ali was talked to and then taken to his car so he could move it.  There was a notable amount of traffic behind Ali’s car.  So he was then asked to move it to where he was originally going to move it.

The cops thought we were going to take off or run the police officer over so they pulled out their guns.  Knowing that if we took off a meter into the cop’s direction, the gun probably would have been fired at Ali.  If that happened, I would have been in shock.  Then after two weeks where I started talking again, everyone related to Ali would have sued the cops asses for wrongly killing someone.

Meanwhile, I was asked to empty out my pockets and show my ID.  While being frisked in every area, I was asked to take off my shoes and run through my hair.

The Police Backup Arrives

Cops are fuck wits I must admit, stirring trouble for no reason.  The whole reason I think we were pulled over for was because the cops on the other side of the block that had seen us speeding and called in for the bike bandits to pull us over when we came to them.

Three cop cars came in for backup, which is ridiculous.  Then a highway patrol car came in for defects.  Standing there in the freezing cold I put my hands in my pockets only to be told I can’t do that, even though I showed no sign of weapons.  Ali had the same done to him.  Even though his car was being defected, they could find nothing wrong.

The reason they pulled Ali over for was because they thought one of his rear brake lights weren’t working.  Bullshit!

Meanwhile, there was a crowd gathering around the scene.  As I looked around I noted many people looking speculatively at us.  I also noted a couple of good-looking girls in skirts walk past.  Ali’s car would indeed be getting a name in Parramatta now, and me with my beanie on wouldn’t have helped our good reputation one bit.

Half an hour later, they told us we could go, no fines, no defects, just a couple of incompetent cops and one fag cop that kept eyeing me, like he was such a big hard cunt and he was above me.  Let me tell you mister faggot cop.  When I am earning ten times your pay out of Producing and Photography, I will be laughing at you, you tin badge, plastic cop, faggot-ass mother fucker in a micro machine hearse with tinsel lights.

Cruise To Sydney With Ali

Once that episode was over we headed for the City.  We once again ran a couple of cars while we were on our way there.  Once in the City we checked out King’s Cross, cruising down the main, headed for Oxford Street and then headed home.  Rolling through Oxford Street more than twice, we noticed plenty of glamorous chicks in short, fruity and revealing dresses or skirts.

On our way out of the City a car full of moderately pretty girls pulled up next to us.  Noticing they wanted to court with us, they asked how much Ali was selling his car for as the ‘For Sale’ inking was still noticeable on the window.  On my side of the window, I noted that the car wasn’t mine.  Not really wanting too much to talk to them either, Ali noted the Celica was $3,000.

The girls tried to be all business like and tried knocking it down to $2,000.  We laughed, turned our heads and then heaved the car faster and faster away from there.  More distant with every meter we traveled, surely tickling their fancy.

On the way home we noticed them one more time as they tried to look in our car to try and get our attention.  We didn’t have any of that.

On the way home Ali called for Penelope to see where she was.  I can honestly say that I didn’t really want him to call because I thought Lyssa would want to stay over my house until Sunday.   At the time I was too selfish to allow it.
