Hello again, this month is full of hellos, but I guess I have to greet the reader before starting. Lets start from last night.
Creating With Design Software
What I actually did after writing in my Diary was muck around with the computer. I was getting tired of MIDI. It was exhausting me, so I started playing around with my paint program. With that I completely remodeled some of the pictures for the CD, making them look better.
I was on the computer until 4am in the morning. Then after watching David Letterman and Entertainment Tonight I went to sleep.
Work On MIDI Music Ideas
Today I woke up around 11am, which is surprising. From get up I took some time to settle to being awake.
After some time I turned on the computer and started meddling around. I tried calling Imad but his mobile phone wasn’t answering.
Lyssa called me today from work twice. We talked for a short period of time.
Today I had a real vibe and with that momentum I started on Midi with some ideas. All it took was to listen to KCi & Jo Jo’s CD and I was off and writing a completely new acoustic guitar melody for the whole song. The melody was completely spontaneous and sounds excellent.
From last night when I sung the old sounding song, I said to myself this sounds more like a Rock song. Today when I was done tabulating the score and adding the bass part and some more strings, I said to myself while singing it, “This sounds R & B to me.” That’s something to say when it’s only me singing it. With that faith in myself and being on a role, I finished the first two verses and practically finished the chorus.
Lyssa Phones Up
Later in the day I also started scoring the lyrics and the vocals. This was late in the afternoon. Lyssa called me from home while I was doing this. I had to stop for a little, but as we were talking Bielka came to Lyssa’s house.
Anyway Imad is at my house, so I have to go. But tonight I was persuaded to stay over Lyssa’s house. More on that tomorrow.
