Begin To Save For The Year Twelve Formal – Mad Chaos: October 7, 1997

Seeking New Employment

While at work at Martinson Engineering I decided that with the job I have now and the position I’ve been put into, I’ll start looking for other immediate full time work where pay is better and I am in a more stable better position.

Research Limousines For The Year 12 Formal

While at work I gathered a fistful of information on Limousines and Formal Wear Shops for Lyssa’s formal night.

After a rainy day of work and a patchy day of spring in Narellan, I returned home.

Talk To Imad On Return Home

I talked to Imad in Campbelltown before I caught my bus.

I talked to Lyssa on the mobile on the bus home.

Handle Ali & Penelope’s Affairs

Once in my house I called Lyssa numerous more times, firstly to talk.

Then Lyssa told me I had to register to vote by tonight.   I called up the Australian Electoral Commission.  It’s not compulsory so I’ll wait.  Calling her back, she told me to ring Ali because Penelope was dying to talk.  He didn’t want to talk to her just yet.

Ali had lots of shit to sort out at home before he could worry about Penelope.

Ringing Lyssa back up I told her he’s going to his brother in law’s house, which he said he was.  Lyssa called Penelope and then rang me back up.  We talked for a little more.

That was that for talking.

Lyssa Brings Penelope Over

After watching some television and relaxing I started into my Diary.

A knock on my door encountered my peacefulness.  It was Lyssa.  Penelope was with her, and she really wanted to see Ali.  Against everything, I called Ali up on my mobile phone.  Penelope talked to him for twenty minutes.

Meanwhile Lyssa, Nikita and Constantine were looking through my photo album and listening to music waiting for Penelope.  Piggybacking Lyssa back to the car, I gave her a kiss and told her I’d call her later for the gossip.

Beginning To Save For The Formal

The formal is only 6 weeks away, and mine and Lyssa’s four months is only two weeks from today.  I’m thinking of buying new film this weekend and using it for some good shots of Lyssa, then doing something with the photos and sending it to her.  Just a thought.

I’m starting to save for the formal though.  Hire of a Limousine, a good one, will cost $300.  Hire of a suit will cost $100, and an extra $150 for other expenses like accommodation.  Once again a short-lived night, and once again, another tomorrow of work for Martinson Engineering.
