Lyssa’s Chatty Sydney Interview – Mad Chaos: January 22, 1998

Downstream From The Bad Fish

Well yes, it has been two days now since my last entry.  Just noticing, I have been through 60 pages of text with a week or more to go of January.

Thoughts upon January are relaxed, as I haven’t really embraced any new turf yet except for the fact that now I know who my friends are and who’s two-faced.  January so far has been relaxing and has rolled by fast without me realizing it really.  1998.

It hasn’t hit me fast enough and without as much enthusiasm as last year.  Yes I guess I’m getting older, wiser and more mature with the decisions that I set forth from this day.

Catching Up With Lyssa

Wednesday morning I woke up early to be ready for Lyssa’s interview.  Having a shower and then something to eat I started walking to Campbelltown.  I gave Lyssa a call to see when she was leaving.  The time was nearing 8:30am and Lyssa was leaving for the station in 20 minutes.

Catching the train, I saw an old mate from Olympus Gym who I used to talk to every now and again.  He was going to the dentist and then to work, so I sat next to him and had a good talk.

Reaching Leumeah, I jumped off the train in pursuit of Lyssa because she had to jump onto this train.  Lyssa was a carriage down and with Shelby, as they jumped on the train with me.  Struggling for seats I ran back to my friend and had a few words with him before I walked back to Lyssa and Shelby.

The Train To Sydney With Lyssa

Seated and talking, Shelby told us how she also had an interview in the City at the same time as Lyssa. We looked at her résumé.

The trip was short and not without dialogue.  Nearing Sydney, we noticed little school kids that boarded.  One or two of the little kids who would have been nearing year 7 couldn’t keep their eyes off Lyssa who was strutting herself in a skirt and top, her blonde hair streaming down her back and her sparkling eyes matching the color of Shelby’s pure green.  The kids ended up getting off at the same station as Lyssa and I.

One of the kids remarked to me, “God, you’re the luckiest guy I know,” as we walked out of the station.

Lyssa’s Interview In Sydney

Finding Lyssa’s interview wasn’t that hard.  Traveling the elevator to the seventh floor, we stumbled upon the apartment.  The door to the room was small.  The apartment didn’t look too healthy, as I said goodbye to Lyssa and waited in the lobby downstairs.

There I was in the lobby for 20 minutes looking at every detail of the building when Lyssa came down with a smile.  She told me that basically they talked for the whole interview and asked her one question, which was about her hobbies.  Lyssa’s interview was good, but they also told her they were interviewing a couple more people, so I’m not too sure about Lyssa’s chances.

The Friendly Train Station Ticket Man

Walking to McDonald’s we sat down and both had something filling to eat.  Then when we were finished walked to Town Hall Station.  My train ticket was swallowed coming to the City.

Trying to attain another ticket from the machine, the ticket man walked up to Lyssa and I and asked us if there was any ticket men at Campbelltown.  After we acknowledged him that there wasn’t a ticket guard, he told us we could walk through without a ticket.

Automatically I knew that he was being nice for the sake of Lyssa’s pretty legs, fine body, and beautiful smile.

Captured by her beauty, I thought I’d play along and just walk through.  He couldn’t stop talking to us, smiling at Lyssa every now and again to show he’s a “Good Guy”.

Watch Scream 2 At Macarthur Square Cinemas

Waiting for our train Shelby, came down the escalator.  By fate we were reunited once again for the trip home.  Lyssa and I were seeing ‘Scream 2’ whence we came back home.  Lyssa didn’t have her half-price ticket.  Shelby had one and offered to drive us to her house to pick the ticket up and then drive us to Macarthur Square, which we accepted.

Back in Leumeah we jumped in the car.  Once we picked the ticket up, we parked in Macarthur Square.  Walking into the Square with Shelby, we learnt that she had some shopping to do, so we thanked her and said goodbye.

Scream 2 had just started when we bought our tickets.  As we walked in, we were mesmerized with what we had seen on television.  Lyssa was angry a day or two ago and didn’t want to watch Scream 2 again, but from what I had seen of the movie, even though it had good gore scenes, they were too spaced.  The movie was good but not as gory as I thought it would be.

7-Month Anniversary Lonestar Dinner

Catching a train to Campbelltown Lyssa shouted us to Lonestar.  We sat inside and ordered chips with cheese, a dinner salad and some drinks.  Lyssa and I had some time to talk there.  By ourselves with no soul in the restaurant we loosened up.

Yesterday was mine and Lyssa’s 7 months for being together.  Having so much on my mind, I didn’t really realize until Lyssa told me.  I had nothing planned because I got confused when after my birthday.  Feeling bad that Lyssa remembered, I relished upon the fact and then hugged and kissed her.  We got along just fine for the rest of the day.

Lyssa and I walked to the bus shelter.  Lyssa waited for her bus while I waited for mine.  Lyssa was visiting Velda’s house that night, so I thought I’d go home and have as good a night by myself as I could.

A Relaxed Return Home

Catching my bus home, I had something to eat and then jumped onto the computer.  I was worried when Lyssa didn’t come home by an hour, as I called Busways for their timetable.  A couple of calls later, Lyssa answered the phone.  Then we talked for half an hour, as she told me her plans for the night.

For the rest of the night I sat and played Sim City.  As the night progressed watching tennis, I had a feeling that Lyssa might turn up and sleep over at my house.  I was more hoping, since it was our 7 months anniversary.  Luckily, to my wish Lyssa did come over with Velda, Rita, Nikita and Shelby all in a car.

Lyssa got interested in my game of Sim City.  We shared my City, as I realized what Lyssa and I were. Lyssa and I are strong now.  We have been for some time, and have grown together for the last seven months.  It made me feel good that Lyssa wanted to stay next to the warmth of my body that night, as I showed my appreciation by giving her kisses and cuddles and just admiring her.

Lyssa and I went to sleep near 1am.  We didn’t wake up until just before midday.

Lyssa Needs Sanitary Products

Thursday morning Lyssa had to go home because she was short of utensils for her 28-day thing.  So without having showers, we caught a bus to Campbelltown.  From there we caught the train to Leumeah and then walked to her house.

Nearing 2pm we lounged for the rest of the day at Lyssa’s, as she received a call from Penelope and then a call from Velda.

An hour later Velda drove over and stayed with us for an hour, as she talked about visiting the pub tonight with Rita and Lyssa.  Velda left.  Then the time passed as we watched television and I called an employer for an interview.

Lyssa wanted to go to the pub.  So I thought since she would be having a shower and spending an hour to get ready and I would most probably be feeling uncomfortable watching television with her mum and brother in the house, I ran the idea of me going home by her.  Lyssa got angry that I wanted to go home.  For the next hour we slightly argued over that fact.

Velda was picking Lyssa up.  Lyssa persuaded me to go to the pub with her tonight.  Still angry with Lyssa, I walked home and told her I would call her when I reached my house.

Driving With  The Dogs

Walking home from Campbelltown I had the mishap of seeing Lucas.  Waving at him, he stopped.  So I thought I’d jump in the car and get a lift home.

In the car with one of the dogs, he told me he was picking up Ralf to visit Macarthur Square and would give me a lift home after his Pizza Hut deliveries.  Wanting to walk, I eventually jumped in the back seat and didn’t talk for most of the trip.  After the deliveries I was dropped home and was happy to be out of the car.

Lyssa Plans To Visit Pub

Now that I’m home I’ve called Lyssa and the problem is mostly sorted out.  The girls will be at the pub from about half an hour from this text and I will walk down and meet them there.  Lyssa will be sleeping over my house tonight.  I’m not sure what we’re doing tomorrow but I want to travel to the City or treat Lyssa to something good.
