A couple of days have passed since I’ve written in my Diary and that’s not because I’m lazy. This usually means I haven’t spent a couple of days at home, or I have but someone’s been over so I haven’t had enough time to write. This is how it began.
Pick Lyssa Up From Her House
Thursday morning I woke up ready to visit Lyssa and escort her to the City for her job interview. Upon getting dressed and eating, I began walking to Campbelltown, caught a train to Leumeah and walked to her house.
Arriving around 11:30am, Lyssa was still getting ready. We had some time to have fun. We sat on the couch talking and watching a movie that Lyssa taped the day before.
Lyssa wasn’t that nervous about the interview she was attending. Later I found out that it’s only for a learning experience for her but she was still very nervous. Lyssa was ready. We locked all the doors to her house, as no one was home.
The train was taken through East Hills. We arrived in 45 minutes to the City.
Bide Time In Sydney McDonald’s
Lyssa was early so at Circular Quay we had some McDonald’s. Then we walked around Sydney looking for the address. The building she had an interview at was huge. Her interview was on the 20th floor.
Lyssa and I sat out the front until it was almost time to go up. We talked about how nervous she was and what kind of interview it was going to be. Lyssa and I traveled up the elevator. I gave her a kiss good-luck before I traveled back down to wait for her.

Job Applications At Sydney CES
Before coming home we walked all the way down George Street in Sydney to Central Station where the CES was. Deciding to look on the computers, I found some positions that were suitable for me. Finding out about one job I got an interview for Friday in Minto for an Accounts Clerk position.
Lyssa was a little stressed because of the distance we walked to get where we were. Walking to Central we bought something to eat and then traveled home.
Ali Discusses Penelope
At Lyssa’s house I wanted to stay that night. So when Ali came over we drove to my house. While home I picked up my suit and other clothes of taste. Having something to eat, we talked about Penelope and him dragging his car with other people. Then he dropped me back off at Lyssa’s house.

The interview was a pain to find, as I traveled around Minto to where I thought it was. Then I called up to get directions. Finally at the interview it wasn’t what I expected.
What I expected was an accounting firm that wanted someone extra to work on a casual three-day basis. Instead, I arrived at a place that sells Squiggly Wiggly hats. My duties were to work the payroll system, which I had to know how to use MYOB for at least one year.
The interview was not what I expected, as the interviewer breezed through most of my credentials. Then she put me on the computer to test me. Not knowing very much about MYOB, I made a big mistake clicking on a part that I shouldn’t have, and repeatedly. Funnily enough I made it through her test on a bunch of different things.
After that process I was sat down while she made photocopies of my résumé. Another person sat down (another boss) and tried to interview me.
His interview technique was like me going out with his daughter and he didn’t like my attitude towards her.
He had short, snappy questions. After I heard his interview, he topped off the worst place I’ve been to for a job. Even if they gave me the job, I wouldn’t take it.
Finishing my job interview I walked back to the train station and walked to Lyssa’s house.
