Lyssa Asks Me Out Again – Mad Chaos: December 24, 1997

Once again, I had to stop typing because I wanted to call Lyssa back and Ali was coming over. 

To finish off my story as last, I was talking to Lyssa late at night, just about to go to sleep.  The last thing we talked about was me calling her up today so she could see me before she left for Adelaide.  To tell myself the truth, I couldn’t have taken the pain if she left and I didn’t make up with her, it’s just not right.  Lyssa told me it’s not our time to break up yet, and I truly believe that.

Today I woke up at 11am because Lyssa called and asked when she will be seeing me today.  Making a plan with Ali, he was to come over around midday, and after we picked up petrol from Camden he would drop me off. 

As my parents went out to shop, I sat at home thinking. 

Lyssa called me once more.  After telling her I might not be able to get a lift to her house, she made plans to come over my house.

Ali actually came over half an hour later.  We drove to Camden Airport for fuel.  Sitting there for half an hour, Lyssa called once again and told us that Penelope wanted Ali to call her at home.  Ali gave her a call and they talked for a short while. 

After we bought some petrol we drove back to Campbelltown, where I called Lyssa.  Asking her if she was ready with a car to come over my house, she replied with a yes, and that she would be over shortly. 

As Ali dropped me off home, he told me he’d be over later.  A couple of minutes later Lyssa turned up. 

Lyssa Changes My Mind About Breaking Up

At first she said her good-byes to Kiley who gave her a lift.  Then she walked in.  The atmosphere was melancholy as I sat on the ground and she sat on a seat. 

Giving Lyssa something to drink, we started talking.  She told me how she had a letter with her that she wrote yesterday night.  Asking her to tell me what was in the letter she recited everything, but was careful about the love part.  Common sense told me it was about love, and we talked about it.  Now I feel that we can tell each other our true feelings and neither of us will feel embarrassed.

Also on my mind, I told her how it takes her breaking up with me to write me letters, want to kiss me and hug me, and be more open than she usually would be.  Lyssa’s love for me is great, and after some stubborn thinking I changed my mind.

Lyssa Promises To Be Best Girlfriend

Lyssa told me she will make every minute of every day the greatest time of my life.  She will be the best girlfriend in the world.  Standing up I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. 

Lyssa queried if she could ask me out again. 

Giving her a hug, I agreed.  As she asked me out, I walked off and said, “Maybe,” in a sarcastic way.

Getting some watermelon from upstairs, Lyssa and I had something to eat, as we rejoiced.  Laying together on my waterbed, we sat and watched some television.  Lyssa and I gave each other a kiss and were happy to be in each other’s company. 

To tell the truth, I never did want to leave Lyssa.  Like her feelings, mine were also great, and I care for her right now more than anything.  The letter Lyssa gave me let out all her feelings and I think I should reveal it in my diary.  This is it.

Dear Tony,

I know I’ve caused you hurt, and
I know I’ve caused you anger and
I’m so sorry, if it means anything.

We’ve shared so much, you make me so happy, and besides being my boyfriend, you’ve been my best friend.

I guess in a relationship there has to be give and take and you’ve been doing all the giving.

I know now that I have lost something so close to my heart, and I need it back, and I know it’s all my fault.

I don’t show you enough care or appreciation, but I feel it, I love you so much.  Although I know it’s not good enough, but I know we can become strong again, and I know you will be receiving all the taking, if you can trust me.

Now I have a copy to place where I place all my letters, to keep forever. 

Lyssa Asks Me Out Again

Another thing to add to my story before I call it quits.  Lyssa told me “You didn’t tell me if we’re going out again.”  Funny it was that I forgot to tell her yes but I did while giving her a kiss.  That’s the first time I’ve had a girl ask me out.  Lyssa told me that’s the first time she’s asked a guy out, but we both know we were kidding around. 

Now that we broke up for one day, it doesn’t mean that we’ve started a new relationship.  Instead, we will still celebrate our months of togetherness on the 21st and we will still have 6 months behind us.

I rewrote the last paragraph here to save me writing another Diary entry. 

While Lyssa was at my house Ali and Penelope showed up for Penelope to say bye.  As they left we said goodbye.  Then at 5pm Lyssa’s mum came to pick her up. 

Lyssa Departs For Adelaide

Lyssa should be on a plane right now traveling to Adelaide.  I hope she takes pictures while she’s gone.  Now that Lyssa is gone I will be lonelier for the next few days.  If I wasn’t going out with her I would be torn apart without her company.  Lyssa really does mean the world to me, as I do love her and am not afraid to admit it.  Lyssa also loves me probably just as great.

Tonight I plan to do some weight training, have a shower, watch some television and just try to tire myself out for the rest of the night.

Tomorrow I don’t have a plan.  Without Lyssa I have nothing to do.  The only person I could have plans with would probably be Ali. 

Lyssa isn’t coming back until Sunday night.  Before she left my house we kissed and cuddled plenty and I’m not at all upset that I didn’t unleash my sexual desire.  Things happen.

Ali Wishes Me Merry Christmas

The time now is 11:45pm and Ali just popped over to wish me a Merry Christmas.  Ali was having a Christmas party at his house.  He invited me but I would rather not. 

I’ve just had a weights session, had a shower and got rid of a bad toothache. 

Looking Forward To A New Year

I’ve been writing in my computer for days on end now and always have something interesting to tell. 

What I might do now before I sleep is overlook my month, see how my days have been, and see how much luck this month has brought me.

Five years down the track what will I have achieved?  Will I be famous in an Audio Engineering capability?  Will my lyrics get published, or will I be more famous for my computer skills and have a highly successful career?  This year is almost over.  It’s Christmas Eve and tomorrow is Christmas.  Days from now, it will be time to celebrate a new year.  Luckily, Lyssa will be around to help me with that.
