Losing Hair After Fight

A day has passed and I realize that since the fight on Sunday there has been a big difference in the amount of hair on my head.  Today at work there was a noticeable difference in my split in my hair.  It was larger.  I’m not sure how much time it will take to grow back, but I’m in for some waiting.

Martinson Engineering Work – Tuesday

Work today was weird.  It felt like I had to start all over again, considering the break I took.  Work was as usual though.  It lasted until 5pm.

Then I came home on the early bus to meet Lyssa at her house.

Print Lyssa’s Poem In Campbelltown Library

Lyssa’s poem was to be ready today.  The way it all worked out was just amazing.  Coming to Campbelltown by bus, I called ahead to book a computer at Campbelltown Library.

Phoning Lyssa from Campbelltown I told her I was just leaving work.  That gave me half an hour to write out my poem.  I literally had to rewrite it because no document was compatible.  It wasn’t the best it could be but I printed it out on the sheets of nice paper I wanted them on, one for my memories and one for Lyssa’s.

Finishing in Campbelltown Library at 6pm, all the shops were closing and I wanted lamination done.  Running around Campbelltown, there was no place that would do it.  I thought it was hopeless and started walking to the train station.

Laminating The Poem In The Nick Of Time

Looking at Pink Panther Printing from a distance I called up Directory Assistance and they gave me the number.  Almost at Campbelltown train station ready to catch a train to Leumeah, they told me they were closed.  He was an old friend of mine that helped me with my résumé.

Telling me he’d turn on all the machinery for $8 I agreed.

I had the lamination done, on the last second.

Running back to Campbelltown train station, I caught the next train to Leumeah.  I talked to some Islanders.  Then I walked fast to Lyssa’s house.

Surprising Lyssa With The Poem

Calling Ali and Penelope, I tried to hook them up for the night, but neither had a car.  Hiding the poem in my shirt at the back, I gave Lyssa a kiss and was thinking of a way to hide it in her room.

Asking her to pour me a drink to occupy her, I walked into her room to put my jacket down.  I also hid the poem in her drawer.

Lyssa came in.  I was pretending that I wanted to turn on her CD Player.  Lyssa and I hugged and kissed and embraced in the idea that it was four months for us.

We even had lunch with her mum eating Sydney Fried Chicken.

After that we popped into her room and had some fun talking to each other.  She gave me a hickey on my neck that is noticeable.

The Boys Are Getting Back Together

Calling Shawn up, he came to pick me up with Tatton and Ralf in the car.  I’m proud to say that the boys are getting back together.  Like I said, nearing Summer we are going to be thick once again.

Coming home we all played around with the IBM Pentium computer.  Shawn had to leave half an hour later.  That didn’t really phase me.

Explain The Poem To Lyssa

I called Lyssa and explained the poem to her.  Lyssa told me she thought it was brilliant, as she asked me to explain every line to her and what it meant to me.

Lyssa and I just talked on the phone for half an hour.  We are probably getting together tomorrow.  Here is the poem I wrote for Lyssa…

Evening and night, my dreams of simplicity and realism are brought alive,

Just for the vision of a thousand days absent, who will still be upon my arm,

And of the times we have embraced body and mind to the prominence of passion,

Only one person truly understands you, and only one undoubtedly is appreciated,

Grieving at times of sorrow, after reprisal always there will be regret and understanding,

Dawn to the moment where two roads disappear into darkness, unseen but in the distance a walk of perpetual decisions,

Let there be want, let there be need, let there be like, let there be love,

In your heart, there are no words that are absent, you do not speak, but I hear, like the wind, every syllable of your presence,

Embrace in the comfort of one thousand thoughts and one million tears,

Even as the candle might flicker, dancing in the darkness, the only source of light to an obscure surrounding, it will never cease to exist,

Sovereign is the flame that will always burn in memory and astonish, weaving a name into every intricate detail, within you, within me.
