The weekend is here and right now I’m writing delusional from pumping Iron at Olympus Gym. Yes, it is becoming a reality for me that I’m lifting weights once more after an extensive holiday.
Martinson Engineering Work – Friday
While at work for Martinson Engineering today I wrote out some more melody parts to my song and finished off some due work.
Thinking Stupidly Towards Lyssa
Coming home it was raining. When I got to Campbelltown I called Ali and he came to pick me up.
At home I called Lyssa while Ali was here. She didn’t know if her or the girls had any plans tonight but I still won’t bother her. Besides, I honestly have seen her too much this week. I’m starting to think stupidly.
Olympus Gym Training Session
Then I ate, got dressed and we drove down to Olympus gym to train, here is my regimen.
Warm-up: | The Warm-up was performed on the bikes and for around 4 minutes I must have burnt at least 10 calories. |
Chest: | Warming up on Bench Press with 40 pounds I performed 25 reps after a stretch of the Chest. Lifting the poundage to 100 pounds I quickly but harshly performed another 12 reps. Dropping the weight down to 80 pounds I just managed 12 more reps. Walking to the Seated Bench Press I repped out 12 reps to 120 pounds. My last set was on Peck Deck where with 50 pounds I done 12 reps to stretch the Chest Cavity. |
Latissimus: | Starting with Seated Cable Rows and 60 pounds I performed a Warm-up set of 20 reps. Flaring out the Chest I done another 12 reps with 90 pounds. Jumping onto Wide Grip Lat Pull-downs I performed a set of 12 reps with 60 pounds then 10 reps with 50 pounds crunching the shoulders together. |
Quadriceps: | Starting with Leg Extensions I performed 25 Warm-up reps with 60 pounds. Jumping onto Leg Press and starting on 160 pounds I moved the weight 15 times. Increasing poundage to 200 pounds I performed another Lactic Acid building 12 reps and then another set of 12 reps with the same weight. |
Hamstrings: | This is where the weight started to get easy using 60 pounds on Lying Leg Curls for 20 reps and then 80 pounds for another 20 reps, this was stressful. |
Biceps: | Taking the advantage of using dumbbells I burnt out on 9 reps using 30 pounders on Alternate Dumbbell Curls. My last Bicep set was with Standing Cable Curls with 50 pounds on the Cable just performing 10 reps. |
Abdominals: | Being the last of the body-parts I performed Machine Ab Crunches with around 20 pounds and done 20 reps. Low Ab Crunches was next managing 10 reps and then 5 more reps on the Machine Ab Crunches. Until today I didn’t know it was weighted. |
There was no warm-down but I was real tired after that session, and I still have to eat.
Imad just called me up and told me he was coming over. So I guess something might be happening tonight, even though it’s raining.
Planning The Weekend
Tomorrow it’s time to book that room with Lyssa.
I will visit Campbelltown library to print out a portion of my Diary and a whole lot of other personal stuff.
I’ll have to also purchase a CD tomorrow and run some other errands.
I should also visit the pharmacist and purchase the pill for Lyssa.
Tomorrow is very busy actually, and I hope that Lyssa and I will be very busy that night. I can just close my eyes and imagine it.
All I have to wait on tonight is Ali and Imad. Then we’re meeting up with Shawn, Ralf and Tatton after they leave the Catholic Club.
