Konquer Insurance Work – Wednesday
Now I’ve had some fun. Today was a powerful day and what I didn’t think would happen obviously did.
Work was earning today, with me finishing off the long word processing job and also the data entry that had to be done.
With a sign of elegance on my face, I strode home.
Seeing Simon At Pizza Hut
At Pizza Hut I had seen Rory and Simon. Jumping in with Simon he dropped me off home.
Applying For A Credit Union Loan
While Simon viewed the photos that I had taken with the girls, I called up AGS Credit Union and applied for $3,000.
While applying for the loan over the phone I chatted up an operator over the phone. She was 35. I got all her details off her. We talked for a long time after my loan interview.
Knowing that I won’t get the loan, that will cushion the impact when I do hear the news.
Frank won’t be in the office before noon tomorrow and the Credit Union will be verifying how much I earn and that I work there. So I could be my boss if I wanted.
Inquiring About Accounting Job
I also applied for a job in the paper today. Sheryl, whom I was talking to about the job described it as a Reception/Accountant. What she described for the job is exactly what I can do, with a lot more phone reception than I’m used to.
I’m supposed to be sending my résumé by fax tomorrow. If I get on her short list then she’ll give me a call sometime during the week.
Ringing Ralf
Then I rang up Ralf. He’s seemed to have found my VHS movie rental now and will pay for its lateness.
Arranging Date Nights With Lyssa
After calling Ralf I called Lyssa. We talked for over an hour about each other.
Definitely now, I know that she is interested in me.
The best compliment I received from her is she thinks I’m very intelligent and sophisticated because of how I hold a conversation over the phone and in person.
She also told me that I’m not as open when I’m around a group as to when I’m on the phone or in my house. The reason being is that I don’t feel comfortable talking in absence of being rejected, even though I won’t.
Lyssa and I organized to see each other at Macarthur Square tomorrow night, and then on Friday night. We’re going to see Liar Liar with Ali and Penelope and whoever wants to come with us.
Saturday we’re going to Wollongong. I’m definitely going to be together in some sort of way with her by then. Sunday is a neutral day. Because it’s her school holidays now, she can see me on Sunday and we can go to the city and take pictures and have a good time.
We stopped talking at 10pm.
Converting Amiga 500 Diary Files To IBM Format
When I firstly started writing in my Diary, Imad came over. So I stopped. Imad brought a new file conversion program for the Amiga 500. When we inserted the 3.5 inch floppy disk into the Amiga 500 and switched to the Disk Master utility, the computer froze. I lost my first diary entry.
We reset the Amiga 500 and loaded the new conversion software. Imad and I converted all the first diary files for 1996 to ASM for the IBM at work. I’m going to try working them out tomorrow.
Time to sleep now.
Diary Of A Mad Chaos is a daily diary written from March 1996 until today, of which individual books and book series have been created, namely “The Lost Years” an exploration of young, entwined love, the “Wubao In China (猎艳奇缘)” book series which provides an extensive comparative analysis of the cultural differences between Eastern and Western societies, and the book titled “Foreigner (华人)” an exploration of race relations in Australia.
