Lyssa Starts On Contraceptive Pill – Mad Chaos: September 12, 1997

I have some new information for tonight.  Starting from tonight I’m back at the gym.  I didn’t think that it could be done again but there I was.  

Play Piano In Jam Studios

Coming home from work I walked into Jam Studios to read some music scores, play some piano and then leave for home.  

Lyssa Is On The Pill

While at home I gave Lyssa a call, who told me that she had seen a GP with her friend Kiley.  

Surprised that she was taking this situation this seriously, I asked her some questions.  She told me that she would have to quit smoking to lessen the side effects and she is willing to do that for me.  Still, I don’t trust the pill that much.  If you miss one day or a certain time of the day, you can stuff up your menstrual cycle and it can get messy.

Discussing Pregnancy With Lyssa

Lyssa told me that if anything ever eventuates she’d sadly have an abortion.  I’m not against that.  I don’t need that big a commitment at this time of my life.  

I’m not for abortion also because you’re giving away a life before it’s even born.  

So now Lyssa and I have really taken that next step.  Lyssa will start on her next period cycle, at the end of this month.

Gym Session In Olympus Gym

Deciding to visit Olympus Gym today I was greeted with some helpful hellos, and no one was surprised I was there.  Once again, I fit into the Gym feeling, and I will be going next week.  This is what I done today.

Warm-up:Running down to the Gym I also rode the bikes for 3 minutes and burnt a couple of calories.  
Pectoralis:Starting light on Bench Press with 40 pounds I performed 30 Warm-up reps.  Getting heavier I stayed on 80 pounds for three more sets of 10 reps each, my Chest was aching.
Latissimus:Starting on Wide-grip Pull-downs with 40 pounds I performed 25 reps before moving to Neutral Grip Pull-downs.  Placing the poundage to 90 I repped out 12 more reps.  Moving now to One Arm Dumbbell Rows with 50 pounds I pushed two sets of 10 reps.
Quadriceps:Making my stay brief I warmed up on Leg Extensions with 60 pounds and 30 reps.  Moving to Leg Press and placing 160 pounds on the machine I pressed out 3 sets of 12 reps.  By now almost all my body-parts were aching.
Hamstrings:Starting to get tired, I performed Lying Leg Curls with 50 pounds for 25 reps.  Moving to Seated Leg Curls with 110 pounds I performed another 15 reps.
Biceps:Beginning with Standing Cable Curls and 35 pounds I performed 10 reps.  Moving to Barbell Curls I failed on 6 reps with a 50 pound barbell.
Abdominals:Deciding to almost finish I done some Machine Ab Crunches, a new conception in a machine where you use your body weight and I performed 20 reps with that.  Two more sets of 12 reps with Low Ab Crunches finished me off for the night.

So that was my first workout for a very long time, probably one of a few this year.  

Experiencing First Workout Stress

After my workout, all the symptoms of “First Workout Stress” started coming back to me.  The walk home, tired, throat dying of thirst, hardly able to move my arms because my body was so tired.  More symptoms also like when you consistently yawn, you start getting a cold and your ears get blocked every time you breathe in.  

All those symptoms brought me back down to earth.  

I was happy to see that when I came home and viewed myself, there was a very noticeable strength that I held from the old days of bodybuilding, and now that will all come back.

Discussing Group Dynamics With Lucas

Lucas called me tonight.  He was really looking for Jett whom is watching a movie tonight.  

Lucas also seems to realize that the group has split their own ways.  Some of us go to the Catholic Club, some of us watch movies or go to Timezone and people like me stay with their girlfriends to get satisfaction.  It’s not really anyone’s fault that everyone is parting.  I’d like to think that everyone is starting to mature out of this episode.  

My days of being one of the players are numbered, for this year anyway.  Guaranteed is my return near the beginning of next year when hopefully I’ll have a car, money and still a girlfriend, my bodybuilding and piano.

Feeling Everybody Has A Problem

Waiting now upon Lyssa so we can get ready for tomorrow on the Internet and then for Sunday playing tennis at Leumeah.  Nothing else is happening tonight anyway.  

These nights are really getting depressing.  There isn’t anyone that calls my phone anymore.  Whenever I’m going out I plan for the boys and try to include everyone, even Lyssa and her friends.  

Whenever my boys are planning something I’m never invited.  It’s like when I take Lyssa out with the boys they have something against her and her friends.  

If Jett brought out his girlfriend I wouldn’t have a problem.  When Keith brings Tamsen out he isn’t that receptive but he’s still there, that’s the thing.  What is everyone’s problem these days?
