Spending Time Alone with Jewell – Mad Chaos: February 4, 1997

I wouldn’t really call today work.  Some of it was, but the rest was just bumming around through Ashfield.

Through the morning I did a database job.

Then I had my lunch.

In the afternoon I played some games on the computer.

I talked to Commonwealth Bank on the phone about stockbroking.

Calling Jewell

Then while Frank was out I called Jewell.

I couldn’t stay on the phone for too long because I had to screen calls, but I told her that I would call her back in half an hour from the payphone.

Two hours passed doing office work.

Then Frank got me to go around all the real estate agents to find a one-bedroom apartment for his parents who are staying for a while.

Calling Jewell On A Payphone

While bumming around I called Jewell from the payphone outside Ashfield mall.

We talked for another half an hour talking about getting together.  She isn’t sure whether or not she wants to come out yet on Friday night with me.  I know that next Friday we are going out.   I will get her something decent for Valentines Day.

I also told her that I might go see her today and after work.  I planned it.

Hanging In Campbelltown Pizza Hut

I rang up Imad and told him to meet me down at Pizza Hut.

Keith was there.  I left with him to my house to get changed.

Then he dropped me off at Jewell’s house in Raby.

I don’t know what he thinks of her but I know what I think, and he’ll think that soon.

Seeing Jewell

Jewell and I walked to her school so we could just walk.  Zola came with us.  We didn’t really be alone but we didn’t need it.

We all sat on a log and talked while the wind was making us cold.

Today we didn’t really connect or touch.  But while at the school she put the tip of her hand on mine and left it there for… 10 seconds.

Then she got shy and moved her hand.  For her that would have been a big thing.  I knew that she was doing it on purpose and concentrating on her hand.

She kept wanting to touch me.  I can’t wait to just be able to grab her and hold her.  That day will come soon.

It started getting dark.  Their parents didn’t know where they were, so we began to walk back.

Being Left Alone Together

Ringing Simon to pick me up I waited out the front with Jewell.  That was the first time in the night that we were alone.  It was a good experience because I didn’t want to try anything on her, but I was hoping she did.

She kept fidgeting (nervous I guess), and dancing around on the street.

I love Jewell’s playfulness and attitude, I just love it.

Sitting Down Together

Imad rolled down the street but the idiot didn’t see me and left.

Jewell actually sat down with me.  We talked for some time.

Jewell told me that she doesn’t eat before going to sleep.  I do.  She thinks that is weird, but I get hungry.

I could tell she was nervous.  I wasn’t showing my nervousness.  I was very nervous but I can hide it.  I didn’t want anything to go wrong.  Luckily it didn’t.

Tomorrow I’m ringing her at 4pm or earlier.  We are going to see if she wants to come to gridiron to watch me play. Lucas will be in on that.  I’ll just tell him Zola said something about him, cruel but effective.
