The Secrets To Weight Loss – Mad Chaos: May 29, 2004

On a stationary bike that sounds like a locomotive over loose rails is where the last few laborious few hours have been spent.  Perhaps it was all in vain because my objective to shed kilos has backfired. 

I started on the stationary bike at 6:30pm to torture myself for half an hour, which provided me with a half-kilo loss to 85.5 kilos. 

I did the dishes meanwhile.  Then had toasted bread with a salmon and lobster spread at 7:30pm to replenish some calories and increase my metabolism.

A Torturing Exercise Session

I then jumped back onto the stationary bike at 8pm for another half-hour, but my stubborn weight remained at the same level.  So I had a couple of lollies from upstairs, and cordial. 

The more half-hour blocks I pedaled today, the more resistance my strained muscles received.  Nevertheless, I endured, to pause and watch television until 9:30pm.

This was when my final half-hour ride commenced.  It annoyed me to remain at the 85.5-kilo barrier.  I had one tomato and five lollies to replace the nutrients and electrolytes.

Disillusioned With Yo-Yo Effect

An hour later I had a proper meal of a tuna sandwich roll with iodized salt because I craved food.  This in turn ballooned me up to measure 86.6 kilos.  Now I am somewhat disillusioned because all the effort could have been in vain. 

I will have to see how much I measure tomorrow when I wake up and flush all the fluids out of me, but there is no chance I will break the psychological barrier. 

I have more luck when I have a minimal nutritious day than when exercise is involved.

For now I will have a shower and maybe read on some revisions, or I may relax my muscles and prepare for sleep soon. 

I want to know the secrets to weight loss.  Maybe these weight scales trick me, but I do measure half a dozen times and in various stable locations.  I hope I am in a catabolic metabolic mood when I sleep, otherwise, there will be drastic changes made to my daily regimen to shed kilos.
