Crashing After PC Game Marathon

These times are coming to the minute nowadays aren’t they?  Well, I just made it because a few seconds ago it ticked into midnight, and we all know what that means don’t we?.  Well, unlike last night I can say I fully feel rejuvenated.  This morning, I was one fresh mother fucker.

Last night I went to sleep at 10:30pm. Believe me, I was struggling to keep my eyes open at that time.  All through the day, I never really felt that tired because I had my computer.  But once the lights were off and I was watching television in my overtired state, debilitation struck.  Body organs started malfunctioning, my eyes started twitching and I went to the toilet often.  But once my eyes were closed and I was lying on my pillow, it was all over.

I’m not sure what my last entry sounded like?  There are three possibilities.  It could have sound warped, didn’t make sense, or it could have been like my normal entries, boring and overexerted.  There I go again, making fun of myself.  I know you’re agreeing.

Lyssa Phones In The Morning

This morning I originally woke up at 9am and knew I didn’t want to wake up yet.  Knowing Lyssa would call me at 11am that sounded like a nice time to wake up.  Well, Lyssa gave me a call on schedule and sounded very tired still.  I only talked to her long enough to advise that I was traveling to the City.

Back to sleep, this time I set the clock for 30 minutes sleep time.  Sleep was blissful until my clock woke me up just over schedule.  Once again I set my clock, but this time for 12pm  Strategically thinking in my head, with this schedule, I would have an hour and a half in the City before I had to meet with Lyssa.

The Glass Window Balcony Dream

Happily snoozing, I remember dreams because I woke up on them.  The initial dream I dreamed was of me being upstairs gathering some food.  Walking onto the veranda for some reason not known to me (because I never really go out there), to look around the corner of the house and view the street.  Coming as a shock to me, I noticed a veranda on that side of the wall.  I was completely dumbfounded.  With no fencing around it to keep you from falling down, I gathered it was just being built.

Walking back inside the house to inform my parents I looked where the family television was, in the corner of the living room.  To my amazement, before I capped out a word I noticed behind the television, built into the wall was terracotta, a 1920’s style glass window sitting there.  Astounded, I walked up to this stained glass contraption.  Trying to figure it out, I was amazed the window opened diagonally on its axis.

Dad warned me not to step out there.  With no supporting frames outside and with such a height from the ground to step through, I considered that.  Just looking outside once again at the veranda that I had now found a walkway through to, I asked my dad how long it has been there, knowing that I don’t travel upstairs into the lounge room that often.  Dad told me the window has been there for ages but the veranda for it commenced three weeks ago.

Stunned at this new information I thought to walk to my room and report the exciting news to my computer.  Thoughts of my sanity started to become fishy.  My suspicions grew when walking into what was supposed to be my room but in actuality was my brothers now vacated room.  Still, shying this off as an innocent lapse of memory, I brought out the computer from under the table where I used to store my Commodore 64.

Back in the day when I used to live in my brother’s room, I used to have a dumb bench that is now downstairs next to the front door.  To elaborate on its appearance, with stubby wooden legs holding it 30 cm off the ground, there is a draw around half of the height as that of the floor and then a big empty space above that which is separated by a glass shelf.  This large space is supposed to hold drink glasses or trophies.  Instead, I used to own it to hold all the paperbacks that I stole from school back in year six, a 34 cm television on top of that and some other items that are too vague to explain.

Within the gap where the legs held the contraption was held my Commodore 64.  Then, I think it upgraded to an Amiga 500.  However long it was, in my dream, I took out my Amiga 500 out of that little slot to write in my Diary.  Once again I was befuddled.  Scratching my head I knew I had an IBM to write into my Diary.  That’s when in my dream I started to get suspicious of where I really was.  That moment was sort of like the ‘Twilight Zone’, in between reality and stupidity.

Waking up out of my dream, I was living through my memories once again.  Then looking at the time as it read 12:22pm I knew I had slept in too late.  The stupid alarm didn’t awaken me.  But stupid me, I forgot to set the winder after it first rung an hour prior, so, who’s to blame?

Breaking Bath Tiles

Back to my original endeavor, waking up this morning.  Yep, when my eyes opened, they opened because I wanted them to.  I was so refreshed from fourteen hours of sleep, I was overjoyed.  Jumping out of bed I ran upstairs and grabbed a towel and then had a shower.

While in the shower I sat down on the floor because I was having after effects from missing a night’s sleep.  Jumping back up off the now warm floor by the heated water, I pushed myself off the loosened wall and found it to give way under my arm.  Two tiles had bent.  Trying to remedy the problem I only made it worse as the tiles fell off.  Luckily they didn’t break.  I kept with my routine and then jumped out of the shower.

Grabbing something to eat from upstairs I warned my dad and then came back downstairs.

Lyssa gave me a call.  I clarified that I was making it to the City.  Lyssa and I talked for a little bit.  Then she had to leave.

Session Guitarist  Phone Chat

Putting some clothes on I was about to leave and then received another call.  This time it was another caller that responded to my free advertisement with the ‘Musician’s Placement Service’ for an Acoustic Guitarist.  Introducing himself as Hanz, I heard his story.  Sounding like he done more country themes than R&B, I gave him some credit, as he had a six string and twelve string guitar and had thirty years in the business.  Apart from that, Coolio is collaborating with a country singer and guitarist, so I might as well follow trade.

Hanz was interesting to talk to; we were on the same level.  Normally, I would be all tense about talking to someone that I needed for a profession but seeming that everything was all over, there was no demo being produced by me, I thought I wasn’t under any pressure.  Nevertheless, I heard him out.  He attracted my attention so much that I jotted down his address so I could venture over there with my lyrics and tape with the instrumental.

This guy knew what he was talking about.  He wasn’t looking for any money, only for some projects to tie him up until the real money comes in.  He offered for me to go over his house and talk about my music over a cupper.  I might accept his offer.

Yep, saying goodbye I left for Campbelltown knowing it was late.  Reaching town just after 3pm I made my way to the station.  No ticket machines were available for me.  Just missing a train, I had to wait a couple of minutes for another.

Seeing Penelope’s Brother On Train

On the way to Leumeah I bumped into one of Penelope’s brothers.  Noticing me he said hello first.  Then I gave him my “What’s up”.  Walking downstairs he sat down until Leumeah.  Then seeing him standing at the door I thought I would make idle conversation.

As we just talked about where he was and where I was going, I couldn’t help but to be amused at the fact he said hello first.  Remembering the Penelope family name was supposed to be feared (or at least in Ali and Imad’s stories when we were first meeting them and the first month of when Ali was dating Penelope), so having her brother say hello first was humorous.

Someone told me once that you are automatically respected and treated superior to the other if a person approaches you first.  An example would be a real popular guy at school that you would always greet first, which is because he wouldn’t know your name.  So you could see the derived pleasure from this little episode.

Jumping off at Leumeah I bought my ticket and then remained seated.  Some minutes later I caught my train.  With the Trading Post and the Drum Media in my lap I started reading.

Bump Into May Winters

Within the City, I only had an hour or less before Lyssa finished work, so I headed for Sanity.

Picking out my first CD out of a depleted selection I headed for the counter and judged.  By my second CD I had May Winters to talk to from Airds High School.  May changed from Campbelltown to the City but is heading back soon because she has no superiority where she is stationed.  With the headphones broken and always switching resonance to each ear, I was starting to get agitated.  Farewelling May, I headed for Lyssa, since she was finishing work.

Dinner At Centrepoint Eatery With Lyssa

Taking a wrong turn, I finally made it to her work still on time.  Sitting down I knew Lyssa would be surprised to see me early.  As she walked out, she was stunned.  Lyssa sat next to me.  I then informed Lyssa I will be staying back an hour.  She was happy to stay with me.  Lyssa thought it would be best to go home.  In a way I was relieved because Lyssa’s presence would have been heckling me to finish up quicker.

Walking Lyssa to hand her mail in, Lyssa felt an urge to eat, so we headed to an eatery at Centrepoint.  Buying myself custard pudding at the food court, we sat down to eat.  Talking about what Lyssa had bought and what I was about to look at, Lyssa cautioned me about the night rides home but I was fine.

Upon eating I walked Lyssa to the station.  We sat down on a bench before the ticket gates.  Lyssa had 20 minutes until her train arrived.

Lyssa was complaining about her legs, she had been walking all day and they were now pain-ridden.  Lyssa was supposed to go walking with Kinley tonight but that didn’t happen because Kinley was busy with family.

Lyssa lent me $5, which was a sympathetic act where I didn’t really need it.  Offering the money back, Lyssa was very assertive, so I thanked her.  Upon giving Lyssa a kiss, she walked through the gates to catch her train.
