Home Alone At Lyssa’s House – Mad Chaos: February 28, 1998

Sitting here listening to music is what I’m doing.  Telling you my story of a day ago is what is happening now.

Friday morning I woke up around 11am.  While having a shower Lyssa called.  Informing Lyssa that I couldn’t make it to the City, I hung up and got dressed.

Alone At Lyssa’s House

Plans for this very hot day were to travel to Lyssa’s house and jump in her pool for a couple of hours.  That’s what I did, as I left my house and was at Lyssa’s house an hour later.  I called Lyssa’s house three times before getting there to see if anyone was home, then knocked on her door and finally opened the back door with the key Lyssa gave to me.

While at Lyssa’s house I quenched my thirst.  Then Lyssa called me on my phone.  At first I didn’t tell Lyssa where I was.  Then after some guessing I gave up my location.  Lyssa was surprised but called back on her house phone.

Lyssa and I talked for her hourly lunch break on the phone.  Then when it was finished, I made myself something to eat and got ready to jump in the pool.

Swimming In Lyssa’s Pool

With only my boxer shorts on I stepped out into 40-degree heat with my towel and commenced cleaning the pool water.  Jumping into the pool steps I cooled my feet off that were getting scathed by heat.  Jumping in some more, I ended up cleaning the mess off the top of the water from inside the pool.

The sun came out of the clouds.  I lay down on my towel to catch some rays.  There I lay for over an hour with a hat over my head, collecting the sun on both sides of my body.  Things got so hot that I quickly jumped up and splashed my way into the pool.

I swam in the pool for over an hour by myself, playing around on the rubber floats and doing some laps.  When I was tired I jumped out, dried myself out in the sun and then ran back inside and out of the heat.  Having a shower, I jumped out cleansed, and put my clothes back on.

Looking out the window I realized that rain clouds were building up rapidly in the area.  Within ten minutes you could only see dark clouds within the realm of the sky.  It started raining very hard, as I sat on the back porch watching and wondering if it would stop before I walked to Campbelltown station to meet with Lyssa.

For another hour I sat there.  It stopped raining around 4:30pm, when I decided to start my journey.

Reaching Campbelltown station an hour early I waited on the seats out the front.  It appeared to me that I might see Nikita too, since she would probably be coming home from the City.

The time was 6pm and Lyssa was coming out.  As I gave her a kiss, we sat down to wait for the next train to Macarthur Square.  While waiting a couple of real young Aboriginal kids ran around the station.  Lyssa and I started talking about what it would be like when the population of Redfern is moved to Campbelltown’s district.

Watch Red Corner At The Cinemas

Catching the train to Macarthur Square, Lyssa and I thought we would watch a movie.  As I picked some eligible movies Lyssa changed out of her work clothes in the cinemas restrooms.  Lyssa and I ended up watching Red Corner, a movie about a man that is accused of a murder in Asia and has to go through their court process.

The movie was pretty good.  Lyssa and I were eating our popcorn and drinking our drinks.  I received a real bad toothache while watching the movie last night, and am still having a bad ache whenever I eat.

Walk Home With Lyssa

The movie finished at 8:30pm where it was already dark.  Lyssa and I decided to walk to my house from the cinemas.  Lyssa’s legs were aching and my tooth was aching on the way to my house.  As we both walked to the lights on the Moore Oxley Bypass towards the pools, we had seen Rory.  I remember the last time we walked home from the cinemas, the same thing had happened.

We bought some Ice Cream from the petrol station near my house.  Just as it started to sprinkle, we made it to my house.

Too Tired To Muck Around

Lyssa was real tired when we arrived at my house.  Even though Lyssa had my Valentine’s Day lingerie on, she was too tired to accomplish anything.  Lyssa went to sleep, as I watched television and taped something from the Titanic for her.

An hour or two later I went to sleep next to Lyssa after poking her through the night.

Lyssa Unhappy In The Morning

This morning we both woke up around the same time and I ran upstairs to get something for Lyssa to eat as she watched what I had taped for her.  Coming back downstairs we both had something to eat and lay next to each other watching television.

Lyssa and I had an argument soon after because I thought she was ignoring me watching television.  Then I ignored her.  After calling all her friends about tonight she called her mum to pick her up.  Lyssa left unhappy.

Long Chat With Ali

A couple of minutes later I called Imad.  Imad was half-asleep still but he told me that Ali and him had spent the night at Wollongong and the car had broken down.  Later I heard the truth how it was all a ruse.

After talking to Imad I called Ali and he wasn’t home.  Jumping onto the computer I found that Ali was at the front of my house twenty minutes after I called.

Inviting Ali in, we found ourselves talking about everything for over an hour or two.  Ali and I talked about the dogs in the group, looked at pictures and talked about the good ol’ days.

Lyssa called twice while I was with Ali.  I tried to talk to her but it would have been better to call her when I was alone.  Ali told me how Penelope showed him pictures of when they went to Marley’s party.  Ali told me that Penelope, Lyssa, Nikita, Rita and Bielka were in the picture and they all looked hot.  They were all posing to the camera.  Ali told me that if I had seen the pictures I wouldn’t believe how good they looked.  That makes me want to see the pictures and maybe get some copies.

Ali is at home now.  We are going out around Campbelltown tonight.  I called Lyssa back up.  We’ve worked out that she might be coming to my house tonight after the party and she will call my phone when she’s ready.  There’s nothing much more to say, so I might as well sign off.
