Taking Lyssa To Macarthur University Lake – Mad Chaos: September 19, 1997

Scriptures are once again written from the place where I work.  Once again, last night was a very busy night.  I didn’t receive much sleep on account of that.

Hanging Out With Ali

Once work was finished yesterday I caught the bus to Campbelltown where Ali picked me up.

Driving to my house, I had something to eat.

We saw Imad.

Fixing Lyssa’s Cordless Phone

Then we drove to Lyssa’s house where her and Penelope were waiting.

All hyped up, I ran around with Lyssa.  We walked into her house where I fixed her cordless phone which hasn’t been working for years.  Lyssa told me she plugged it in and it wouldn’t work when she tried to power it up.  The blonde thing about this was that she didn’t bother trying to put the receiver (the talking part that has to be charged up) on the connector part.  How obvious is that!

Lyssa left the phone off the hook for 3 days trying to charge it up.  Sitting there amazed, we both began to laugh.  I couldn’t help but think what was going through her mind.  That is pretty blonde and pathetic when you think upon it.

Hanging Out With Ali At Macarthur Square

After that little incident, we jumped into Ali’s car and drove to Macarthur Square where we and the girls parted our ways.

For most of the night we stayed around the Lebs, but we did mingle with some people I haven’t seen for a while.  There was no one from our group in sight up at Macarthur Square.

Macarthur University Lake With Lyssa

From Macarthur Square we decided to look for a location to stop at so we could have fun.  I chose Macarthur University.  So we parked at the university parking.

Lyssa and I walked to a dark, desolate part near the university lake.  We stayed there for over an hour having fun and enjoying ourselves.

Penelope and Ali stayed in the car for over an hour enjoying themselves.

The Magic Between Lyssa Begins To Fade

While with Lyssa I was thinking.  Thinking that when a big ask like a formal confronts me, then I’ll get scared and start thinking twice.  That happened last night.

I was wondering how long I would be with Lyssa.

To honestly say, the magic that was there for me at the beginning is already starting to fade.

What I have to see now is whether or not the attraction was not only of body, but of mind.  After time, Lyssa became more known to me, less of a mystery.  Because of that, it must be why these thoughts are in my mind.

For our 3 months of going out we will both be spending a night at Formule One Hotel in Leumeah.  I know we’ll have lots of fun there, there’s no bar on noise.  I’m getting aroused just thinking about it.

Conflicted Feelings About The Year 12 Formal

Why I’m really scared is that Lyssa asked the dreaded question of the formal.  Well, she didn’t ask me but I felt so bad knowing she wanted me to go and had no one else that I decided to go with her.  Now that could cost me dearly.  Either way it was a lose-lose situation.

Not going to the formal would have seen me being squeezed out but going to the formal will make me uneasy.

Just as I get uneasy eating out with people or going to nightclubs, a formal is where you HAVE to look good to leave an impression for whoever is leaving school.  It’s a big deal for Lyssa.  Hopefully Lyssa and I will last until that day but it might not.  Actually I doubt that we’ll break up yet, maybe next year or on.

Getting Delusional Through Lack Of Sleep

Anyway, last night after walking back to the car from our stroll, Ali and Penelope took a stroll.  It was getting late and I needed my sleep, so I started to get delusional.

Lyssa and I were very uncomfortable in Ali’s back seat.  I was very tired and stressed that it was almost 1am  Ali and Penelope came back near that time, and we all rushed home bewildered.

Dad Loses Control On Roundabout

There were only 5 hours of sleep in my day today, but I don’t feel tired at all.  Lucky.

Today it is raining so my dad gave me a lift to work.  He lost it on a roundabout and almost hit a corner.

Keith Confronts Me About Pranking

Keith called my phone at the start of work.  He wanted to know the reason for my pranks to his phone.

Someone called me last night at Macarthur Square and kept pranking me.  I thought it was Keith so I called him back and got people to talk to him, not me.  So he’s a bit shitty, but I don’t care.

Keith is doing a fair amount of the pranking so he’ll get some back for the days way back when he did prank me.
