The Rise To Leadership

Forth of today, I’ve gained my respect back in many places.  I’ve left many aces on the playing field and have started to return to what I was before I was what I became of today, one of the leaders.

City Train Tickets Too Expensive

The morning started with me getting up at 6am.  Getting ready, I wasn’t all that tired.  I walked to the station with my suit on.  Just about to buy a train ticket, I was right on time.  After looking at the price of the train tickets I had a second thought, and decided painfully to walk back home.

Really, I knew that the City was a bad option for me to work in.

Building Up The Suspense For Lyssa’s Birthday Present

Coming home, I rang Lyssa at 11am where the flowers were supposed to be delivered.  Talking to Lyssa for a little, our conversation was interrupted twice as her friends called for her.  As we started to talk, I was anticipating the arrival of my present, and mostly anticipating the smile on Lyssa’s face and the reaction.  How gently was my little plan woven all together to turn out more than stunning, more than astounding, more than words can explain.

Getting into conversation of Roses, she told me she’s never received more than ten roses before. That’s the record and that was by a friend.  She didn’t know what I was up to, as I asked her if she would ever expect me to do something as sweet as that.  Lyssa thought I was the kind of guy not to do that, and only send one Rose apart from a bunch of Roses.  Little did she know.

Lyssa then told me she was in her pajamas and that she would not answer the door for anyone.

She kept asking why I told her that I’d call her tonight a couple of times before she was picked up, and why I wanted to talk to her until midday.

Lyssa also told me about a psychic that she visited ages ago.  The Psychic told her that she would meet someone in the middle of year twelve that will last a considerable amount of time and that person would be right for her.  That spun me out.  Then there was a knock on her door.

Hearing nothing but the door close and rustling of plastic paper covers for the Roses, “Thank you for the gift,” she told me, “But the poem is hard to read.”

“Hold it up to the sun.  That’s the right way,” I exclaimed to her.

She then got embarrassed and quiet and had to go.  Saying Bye we ended on a good note.

Macarthur Square Retail Shopping With Ali

Then I called Ali.  Ali came over after half an hour.

As we drove to Macarthur Square and I bought some boxer shorts for the very first time and a sick jacket.

Visiting Lyssa’s House

Coming back to Campbelltown we drove to Lyssa’s house to see Penelope and Lyssa.  Developing the pictures, we drove there.  She had some friends over that left as soon as we got there.

Not paying much attention, the roses were in the kitchen sitting in a vase all together.  Sitting on the back porch Lyssa didn’t hesitate to sit next to me.  She was happy so I was happy.

Soon all of her friends will know about the Roses and my present, no doubt.  Hopefully it will be a big event for Lyssa because I think she loves my present and appreciates my devotion to her.

Penelope really appreciated what I done for Lyssa.  She couldn’t but stare at me in amazement.  Leaving, I gave Lyssa a kiss, more than once.

Bro Talk With Ali

Then we left to get some seats for Ali’s car and then to eat.

Driving to my house we sat there and talked about the girls and how Ali doesn’t know what to do with Penelope.  He likes her but not the fact that he can’t fully explore with her.  Giving him some good advice, I guess he must have liked it because he let me drive his car to the shops in Bradbury to buy some cordial.

Lyssa rang me while Ali and Imad were here.  I talked to her for a little while before she let me go because my friends were over.  Meaning to call her back didn’t happen because Shawn and Ralf came over.  I entertained them for the remainder of the night.

Ali Offers His Car For P’s Driving Test

Ali and I are getting together tomorrow to train at his house on the weights first, and then go for a cruise up to Kentlyn so he can teach me some tricks in his car and teach me how to drive better.  He’s offering his car for my P’s test.  I might take him up on his offer, since it is a breeze to drive.

Like I’ve said, my month has come out of a slump and started to slowly escalate.  Everything is now coming full circle once again.

The twenty-first of this month is two months into mine and Lyssa’s relationship.  I’m not sure if I’m going to do anything for that.  I’m planning something small but special.

Maybe I’ll just see her because she has school.  Maybe we’ll travel somewhere or I’ll buy her Tori Amos the CD because she likes it.
