A Day Off Work
Today I got up at the normal time but I felt drained, like usual. But today I didn’t go to work. Not being able to be bothered, I stayed in bed.
Then I rang work to tell the boss that Campbelltown was mildly flooded and that I couldn’t make arrangements to make it to work. He believed it, even though there was a tiny bit of truth in my story.
Applying For Jobs
Today dad and I went to the CES. While I showed my dad how to work the machines, I sent a fax to the job in Campbelltown and had my reference retyped.
Developing The Film
It was very wet today. I took the opportunity to develop the film from the camera.
Coming back home, I checked out the pictures. They were all good, some sick ones in there including the ones of Margaret, which made me think about her and me.
Calling Margaret
Trying to ring her mobile, it was turned off. Then I rang it again and it rang out.
Ringing up Maura I got her to give me Linda’s number. Linda gave me Margaret’s number.
Calling Margaret up, the conversation was all good. She told me that she has an on-off boyfriend. That doesn’t really bother me since I can go behind his back to get to her if she wants that. If she doesn’t want me then I can easily disappear, but I’d rather not.
Ralf Envisions CTS Jackets
The conversation with Margaret was going nice until Ralf stepped into the house.
Inviting Ralf in, Margaret didn’t want to hold me up because I had a friend over. So I let her go.
“Do you want to call me back,” she asked.
“Of course I do,” I replied.
Ralf was over for an hour or more talking about getting the CTS inscription on the back of our jackets.
Jett Uses My Phone
When he left, I didn’t get a good enough chance to ring Margaret because Jett came over.
All Jett really wanted to do was use my home phone. Then he left not long after that. That’s pretty rude, especially after he’s done it more than once.
Trying to ring Margaret back, the line was busy for a very long time. So either she’s talking to someone on the phone or it’s off the hook from me.
It’s now getting late. I need my beauty sleep for tomorrow to work on some shit for my résumés. I’m getting some color printing done on the weekend at Woodbine, so that better be worth me going over.
