Universal Records Sends An Instrumental
Persistency really pays off I have learnt today. I’ve just been working on the kinks of my song and have noticed how Jessie has really fucked up some of the pieces, not dramatically but it could have been more professional.
Sitting there working on my song I put on the song “Am I Dreaming” so I could recite the voiceover parts for it. Getting into that I worked out what sounds good. Then I had a thought in my mind to ring Universal Records to see if they have any news on the instrumental for me.
Ringing Journee once again I was expecting her to reject me once again but I was greeted with some rejoicing news. Journee had received a couple of CDs from ‘Ol Skool’ the album. One of the tracks included an instrumental version of ‘Am I Dreaming’. Journee told me because of my persistence she was letting me have the CD and was sending it out to me today. So as you can see, I am wrapped about what has just happened. That news along with me writing into the Drum Media, I am going to make this work big time.
Minor Argument With Lyssa
I’m just about to leave for Campbelltown to meet up with Lyssa. We had a bit of an argument when she called me from work today. I asked Lyssa if she was being totally honest with me about who she called last night. After asking me some questions and then me telling Lyssa that Velda’s phone wasn’t busy, she started to get angry with me. She hung up the phone twice abruptly and called me back twice trying to clear her name.
I have no hard evidence that Lyssa was doing anything wrong on the phone last night, only a gut feeling. But I can’t hold onto that feeling forever. So I believe what Lyssa is telling me, but I only wish that I had let someone at Velda’s house pick up the phone so I could see if she was talking to Lyssa or not. Because I didn’t do that, I will never honestly know whom Lyssa was talking to.
Planning For A Night Out
Lyssa and I are probably going out with Ali and Penelope tonight to the movies. If we go and don’t have an argument then we will be watching “The Wedding Singer”. After that Lyssa will be coming to my house instead of going to this party she wanted to attend.

I’m not sure what is happening tomorrow night but I hope we go out somewhere, just the boys. Hopefully, I’ll have Ralf over my house helping me with some of the guitar tunes.
It’s almost time for me to leave for Campbelltown. I might as well jump off now and talk to you in a couple of days.
