Unbelievably, it’s been at least 5 months since I have set foot into the gym. When you consider that, it has been a long time. Now that I’ve made the first step, it would be easier to go again.
Konquer Insurance Work Day
Today at work, the boss didn’t show. I kind of figured. He had flown to China like he told me he would.
Lots of phone calls came through. I stayed in the office more today, only stepping out to talk to Yanna and do the rubbish.
Calling A Mental Clinic
While at work I called mom to see if she had done the shopping, No… She abused me over the phone. So I hung up on her and called a mental clinic.
The mental clinic was called in Campbelltown. They are to have a meeting tomorrow and send someone out to look at her. If there is lots wrong with her then they will take her to hospital. It’s bad that the story comes to this but it has to happen. She needs help.
Doing The Grocery Shopping
Leaving work a little earlier, I received a lift from Rory to home. Seeming my mom didn’t shop today I took $120 from mom’s purse and bought groceries for myself. I kept some for myself. With the money left over I’m going to buy Infrared Headphones for my room.
When the shopping was done I called dad. He picked it up.
Then I got dressed and left for the gym.

Warm-up: | Starting on the bike I travelled for 2 minutes burning 10 or so calories. In addition, I warmed up the major body parts. |
Chest: | Not having done this for a while I started on Bench Press with 40 pounds and produced 20 reps. Next set with 80 pounds awarded me with 12 reps. The last set on this exercise was for another 12 reps with 80 pounds. Moving on I jumped to Incline Dumbbell Press with 40 pound Dumbbells and made 12 reps. From there I done 12 reps with Pullovers and 50 pounds and then on Cable Crossovers I repped out 12 reps with 30 pounds each hand. |
Back: | Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns was the norm with 60 pounds doing 12 reps. Dropping weight to 50 pounds I managed another 12 reps. Still hungry for back power I rolled to Seated Cable Rows and with 60 pounds I just managed to produce 12 reps before I conked out. Moving to One Arm Dumbbell Rows, I conked out half way not producing effectively doing 12 reps with 55 pounds. |
Quadriceps: | Particularly tired on this body part I started with Leg Extension on 60 pounds or so doing 20 reps. The last 3 sets were with Leg Press beginning with 80 pounds with 15 reps, 160 pounds and 15 reps and once again for 15 more reps. |
Hamstrings: | Beginning with Lying Leg Curls and 70 pounds I plugged away 15 reps before stopping. The next two sets were with Seated Leg Curls with 110 pounds (or around there), doing 2 sets of 15 reps. |
Abdominals: | Lastly was Abs and using new Machinery I done Machine Ab Crunches where you are seated and you pull your hips towards your head, your whole body curls in the seated position. Starting with 50 pounds plus my bodyweight, I managed 15 reps and my Abs were aching. Dropping weight to 40 pounds I once again produced 15 reps. Opting for Low Ab Crunches for a set, I managed 12 reps before ending the day. |
Mom Goes Mental
Upon coming back home I cooked something to eat. While I was eating mom called the police, on my dad this time. The police actually came, even though she abused them.
Keith came in the middle of the domestic. My mom was silenced.
Seeing A Meteor Fall
Keith left telling me something important.
Many days ago, last Wednesday, Keith and I had seen this giant meteor come very close to the earth, a kilometer or so from Kearns or that distance near Camden. During broad daylight while we were driving towards Woodbine Macers for some reason, before I went for my driving test.
When Keith came to me today, he told me that the story was in the paper and that the people who had also noticed it had seen it during the night at 11pm or so. In actuality, we had seen it within the day at 11am or about 1pm. This is very intriguing. I’m going to study the newspaper where it is front page in The Chronicle.
It is now time to eat and almost time to sleep for an early day tomorrow.
